Arc Of Time: Pillars Of Light

I settled myself about 20 feet away from the brazen wolf creature; its jaws extended beyond their normal proportions, giving it a more monstrous appearance.


 Lily and three other children stood in a defensive stance, backed up against the log of a giant tree, while one of the younger children cried in fear.


Forming a ball of water, I launched it at the creature, hoping to grab its attention. However, even as it smashed into the creature's head, its focus remained fixed on the children. Realizing that my sword might be necessary, I pulled it from its hilt. I noticed that the sword had a gem embedded in it, shimmering in hues of blue and white.


Focusing my soul energy, I felt it surge forward, causing the blade to glow with a dazzling white light.
