Contract and Treasure Recieved

Hendrix POV

A week passed, and Hendrix attended classes and visited Allura in the hospital as he didn't want to anger her if he didn't.

'Ackalon, I wonder when I'll be able to enter the crown world.' Hendrix thought as he sat on a chair in the common room in his dorm.

{I'm not sure Hendrix}

'Well, when I do, I will enter the wilderness and live alone. I don't want to interact with anyone but you.' Hendrix thought as he felt he was in a lion's den in school. He had many secrets he wanted to stay that way.

{I understand why you think that way, Hendrix, but I think you still have a lot to learn. And I recommend learning it In the crown worlds Empire's, as it may be beneficial. Though it is your choice in the end.}

'But if anyone finds out my secrets, or if someone sees me revive. I must destroy my body and flee after it's finished rebuilding. And move to a different Empire or Kingdom. I don't need lots of ancient and powerful people experimenting on me in an attempt to extend their lives or become immortal.' Hendrix thought, feeling a shiver down his spine, not wanting to be tortured for eternity.

{I understand Hendrix.}

'I have too many secrets, being reincarnated, having two unique classes, being unable to forget, being immortal, my powerful skills, etc. I'm afraid of being found out and being hunted for eternity.' Hendrix thought, shivering more as he felt he would be doomed if caught.

{Hendrix, I understand your situation. Just know no matter what you decide, ill always support you and do whatever I can to protect and comfort you.}

'Thank you, Ackalon.' Hendrix thought as he rested in the chair weakly.

{You're welcome, Hendrix.}

A notification sounded from Hendrix's wristlet. It was loud and seemed like a telephone calling one. Hendrix looked at it as it read.

(Hello Hendrix, please come to the principal's office, it is a serious matter.)

'It seems I have to go. I hope it's just a small book of rare plants and fungi that isn't in the library.' Hendrix thought as he got up and grabbed his cane before walking to the door and, with much difficulty, opened it and left after closing it.

Hendrix arrived at the principal's office in twenty minutes and knocked on the door weakly three times. Right after he knocked, footsteps sounded beyond the door. And their volume increased until the door unlocked and opened.

"Hello, Hendrix, please come inside. I have granted your request." Mrs. Syble stated as she opened the door completely.

Hendrix nodded as he walked into the room and sat on a chair, as Mrs. Syble sat in hers across from him.

"Hendrix, we have some good news. The book you will receive is a space affinity treasure. But first, please read this contract. It is required for you to take it home." Mrs. Syble explained as she pulled a piece of paper covered In symbols from beneath her desk.

"What kind of contract?" Hendrix questioned with his eyebrow raised. However, in his heart, he felt alarmed and felt that this was a red flag.

"Well, it's this one. Please read it all." Mrs. Syble replied with a smile as she placed it in front of Hendrix.

Hendrix nodded and looked at the contract, and as he did, he retained a poker face. However, in his heart, he was horrified as he saw that he'd have to share information from a past life. And this meant he would have to return to this earth, which he never planned to do.

'Ackalon, they know one of my secrets. I shouldn't accept this deal.' Hendrix thought, horrified as he didn't want to return. However, his face had no change in expression.

{Hendrix, please calm down. You can just read it and memorize it all and give it back sometime in the last week you are here. Then you are not bound by the contract.}

'Oh, I see, now. I guess I'll skim over each page then. So I can study them in my own time in your realm.' Hendrix thought as he calmed down a bit.

{I'm glad. Now I wish you luck, Hendrix.}

"Mrs. Syble, I accept the terms." Hendrix replied as he gazed at Mrs. Syble.

"I'm glad. However, there is a task you need to complete as well. You must make sure your classmates survive until they reach the city. At least one-third will need to live and return to Earth. If you do not reach this requirement, you'll not be allowed to return." Mrs. Syble explained slyly.

"You know I'm reclusive, right? I don't like talking much, except civilly. I don't want to be around my classmates there." Hendrix responded while shaking his head.

"You must do this task, too, or you won't get the book." Mrs. Syble countered.

"Fine, I'll give you an ultimatum, they can look for me, but I won't for them. After all, I'm weak and need this cane to walk. " Hendrix stated, trying to compromise.

"I'll allow it. Is there anything else you would like to add?" Mrs. Syble asked as her brow twitched a bit.

"Yes, they are not allowed to touch me. If they do, punish them. I hate when people touch me, and I dealt with it long enough. Additionally, If they grabbed me, I'd be too weak physically to escape." Hendrix replied while crossing his arms.

"Fine, and what else?" Mrs. Syble questioned as her brow continued to twitch.

"They need to follow my orders and not talk to me unless it's about survival-based matters. I'm reclusive, and I'm not interested in friendships." Hendrix replied as he looked at Mrs. Syble.

"Fine, I'll agree to all your requests. Now sign the contract." Mrs. Syble responded as she sighed. She felt Hendrix had trauma in his ancient past.

"Well, aren't you forgetting something?" Hendrix signed the contract with a pen and smiled a bit as he held out his hand.

[You have a signed new contract]

"I'm not. Here's the book." Mrs. Syble stated as she handed the book to Hendrix. It looked deceptively normal, though it had a strange aura that emitted from it.

"I'll see you later, Principal." Hendrix thanked her while planning to open it after he returned to his dorm. Additionally, he got up and grabbed the cane and the book.

"Goodbye, Hendrix." Mrs. Syble waved with a smile.
