Memorizing and Beads

Hendrix walked back to his dorm, and once he entered, he quickly passed the common room and entered his own. Once done, he opened the book, which opened a gateway, and entered with wide eyes, and what he saw was a small library filled with books.

Hendrix spent the next month skimming through each page of all the books and going to class. As he did, he occasionally deeply read some of the entries, and his eyes dilated and shivered, learning how valuable this treasure was.

Hence he decided to leave it in his room when he went to the crown world, as he feared people hunting him down if he never returned to Earth with it in his possession. Additionally, he didn't want to keep treasures he couldn't protect or hide, feeling it may cause people to hunt him more than he already might. Once the month ended, he left the pocket realm for the last time and sighed.

'Ackalon, it's good the principal didn't know about me being unable to forget.' Hendrix thought as he smiled.

{It indeed is, but first, you should head to class. It's about time to enter the crown world.}

'Alright, I'll do so. It's about time to escape this world and away from Mr. Parker's prying eyes.' Hendrix thought as he placed the treasure on his dresser and made the bed for the next person with great effort.

{Hendrix, I wish for the day when I get strong enough so you won't live in terror and enjoy life. I want to make it so no one dares to harm you ever again.}

'Sadly, that day will never arrive, Ackalon. You know all my secrets need to stay hidden. That's one of my worst fears, for the world to know my true self and capabilities.' Hendrix thought while sighing as he grabbed his cane and left his room slowly.

{I'll make it happen, but remember, my strength growth depends entirely on you inventing things and improving them. I gained a little from the custom fighting style you developed and from creating your first beast. But it's minuscule, sadly.}

'Alright, I sadly can't invent something right now. But I'll do my best in the future.' Hendrix thought as he knew he had unlimited time on his hands as he stepped onto a stool and opened the door.

{Alright, don't rush, and take many breaks. It makes my heart ache when you overwork yourself. You have done enough already, please.}

'I sadly can't promise that, Ackalon. You know how much danger I'm in at all times. Sometimes I feel like I must work exponentially harder to ensure my secrets are safe and not in danger. I have to tread carefully with all I do." Hendrix thought as he got down and walked through the common room.

{Your right, Hendrix. This world is a dangerous place for you. Please be careful. I don't want you to be captured and experimented on.}

'I'll do my best but can't promise anything. I'll give you an analogy of what I am. I'm but a grain of sand upon a beach who looks up at the stars at night. My impact is infinitesimal on this world and the smallest fish in a cosmos filled with horrors.' Hendrix thought as he bitterly laughed as he got on another stool, opened the door, closed it, and walked towards class.

{Hendrix, you have altered reality in your tribulation and the crown world, albeit indirectly. You may feel small, but remember. I'm your guardian, your protector, and I'll do everything I can to protect you from those horrors.}

'Thank you, Ackalon, for doing this.' Hendrix thought as he teared up while walking through the hall.

{Anything for you, Hendrix. And please fall asleep earlier if you need comfort or wish to visit my realm. I'll welcome you with open arms.}

'Alright, I'll do so. If it's okay, can we see a battle between the Necromechanical Terror and the Bone Monarch in your realm? I think it entertaining to watch.' Hendrix thought, smiling as his tears stopped.

{Heh, I could create them or even make an arena for them to fight in. And I'll gladly create that for you to see in there. Oh, you're going to love it.}

'I can't wait, though. I need to head to class.' Hendrix thought as he arrived at the classroom door.

{Alright, good luck Hendrix.}

Hendrix entered the classroom and found his seat, and sat down before surveying the room, and it was empty. Eventually, thirty minutes passed as all the students found their seats.

Subsequently, Mr. Parker entered the room with narrowed eyes as he glanced at Hendrix before quickly changing his attention toward the class and smiling.

"Hello, everyone. We have had fun these few months together. But today, it's time for us to part, but first, please follow me to the auditorium. There is one last assembly before you enter the crown world." Mr. Parker stated as he sighed before walking towards the door.

Everyone nodded in agreement and exited their seats before following Mr. Parker to the auditorium. There was a massive crowd of students already in front, and they talked to each other.

"Everyone, please take these beads and make sure not to lose them. They are vital for your survival." Mr. Parker announced to his class as he pulled a bag of strange clear beads out of his pocket.

'I hope this isn't a tracking device. If it is, I'm throwing it out as soon as I complete the little task given to me. There's no way I'm letting them know where I am after that.' Hendrix thought as he walked up and awaited his bead.

Mr. Parker distributed the beads to his class and smiled before beckoning them with his hand towards the door. The class understood and followed him into the auditorium, while the other classes had similar things happening.

After twenty minutes, all the first years in the school were sitting in the Auditorium and separated from their classes, with their teachers for that period sitting next to them.

Principal Syble opened the door on the right side of the room and walked to the podium. She narrowed her eyes as she stared at all the new students.

"The time has come. You have had a chance to learn all you can. However, once you enter the crown world, you are on your own for the duration. Everyone here will go to random locations around Okria, a large border city in the crown world." Mrs. Syble paused as she let everyone process what she told them.

"If you encounter your classmates, please stick together. Your chances of survival are higher this way. Please place all the beads your teachers gave you on your foreheads." Mrs. Syble stated.

Everyone did as asked, and most felt they should head to a particular person in each class. While a single person in each class had their beads begin to glow. Hendrix was one of them.

"That feeling you have is to find your leaders in each class. Though don't worry. This position is temporary. Now all leaders will have glowing beads." Mrs. Syble announced as she smiled.

'It seems I will be found quickly in the crown world by my classmates. I'm throwing this thing out once this is over.' Hendrix thought as he sighed.

"Everyone, please follow your teachers back to your classrooms, they will explain there, and you'll enter the crown world after." Mrs. Syble proclaimed while sighing a bit.

All the students obeyed Principal Syble's instructions and followed their teacher's back.
