The young man leaned against the cold stone wall of his cell as he waited for something to happen. It was a bare room with a metal bed and a small barred window near the ceiling that let in a little sunlight.

Natsuo's face was expressionless as his fingertips ran unconsciously along the sutures on his right palm, reminding him of the wound he had received over two days ago.

His eyes were half-closed with exhaustion and he gripped his green prison uniform when his stomach grumbled with hunger. He had been offered a bland meal of clumped rice and plain soup, but he had no appetite.

"Look at you, poor thing."

He saw the familiar face of a young woman who smiled so sweetly at him that it nearly made him cry. She wore a long, dark dress that clung to her petite figure, making her look like something straight out of a storybook. Her wild black hair cascaded around her face in waves, framing her soft contours and emphasizing her intense eyes.
