The Hidden Secret of the Yakuza

Izumi had a panic attack. She was gasping for breath after pressing the emergency button next to the patient's bed, calling for help. Her legs trembled as she stumbled back, trying to keep her distance from the medical staff, who quickly appeared after her call. 


Jiro had instantly fallen motionless and unresponsive after his eyelids suddenly fluttered for a second. 


She didn't know what was happening. It seemed like he tried to open his eyes, but his body wouldn't respond to his efforts. 


A male doctor checked the patient's pupils and the two nurses beside him seemed surprised by what they saw. 


"Will he be alright?" Izumi asked when the doctor ordered tests and scans to be taken, but she didn't understand what they were. 


Another low, gurgling groan escaped the patient's lips. The nurses unlocked the bed's wheels and pushed the man away for further examination.
