Make sure he never comes back

The blue eyes stared at the brown ones for a minute. There was an intense, unspoken energy coursing between them as if time was standing still.

"I... I am Natsuo," he answered with a gulp when the odd silence and tense atmosphere between them almost caused his throat to dry out.

Jiro smiled weakly and lowered his eyes.

"I'm sorry. The doctors told me I might not remember everything," he said, his voice so soft and fragile it seemed to break at any moment.

Natsuo shook his disappointed feelings away, recalling that he had also read about that in his medical books - amnesia. Coma patients often had some form of memory loss when they woke up, either partially or completely. He quickly replied with a reassuring smile, wanting to make the other one feel better.

"It's alright, I understand. Apparently it's common."
