Moving To A New Mansion

Selena got down of her room and made her way to the dining hall for breakfast, Her mansion is quite big but only three people live in the main building because she loves the feeling of being an ordinary girl without all the servants walking up and down even though the reality is harsh.

Selena believes that if only her parents were ordinary individuals or she was born into an ordinary family maybe her life would have been happier than the one she's currently living.

She felt like a phoenix in a golden cage where people see and envy her without knowing what she was feeling inside.

A lot of young ladies out there envy her lifestyle not knowing the condition that comes with it.

She's the product of the mistake of two influencer individuals in society, a mistake that must not be known to the public.

Her mother hates her and doesn't have time for her and her father loves her but can't be too close to her because of his wife for the sake of her safety, She does not have any true friends around her apart from Jenny who is her childhood friend.

" Nana good morning," Selena said with her signature charming smile as she set her eyes on the middle-aged woman setting the table.

Olivia Thomas is Jenny's mother and Selena's nanny, she is the most important person in the life of the two ladies, a lovely mum even though she's not rich, her love made up for it.

"Morning Lena, how was your night," Olivia said with a gentle smile on her face, giving out a motherly love vibe with the casual dress and apron tied around her waist, her hair packed in a bun, and a tiny diamond necklace on her neck.

The necklace was a gift from Selena and Jenny after their convocation to appreciate her efforts in their lives and since then she has not taken it off.

Olivia doesn't look like your average nanny due to all the expensive things she puts on that are mostly gifted to her by Selena and her daughter.

"Fine Nana, where is Jenny ?" Selena said as she found out that her best friend whom she sent down early was not even at the dining hall yet.

" I sent her back to put on her slippers, She's been walking around without slippers on and the floor is cold, Don't worry she will be down soon," Olivia said as she put the last plate down.

" I'm here!" Jenny's voice sounds from the stairs as she rushes to the table and tries to grab bread from the table before Selena hits her hand.

"Manners Jenny manners," Selena said sternly as she looked at her best friend's unladylike behavior.

" Lena! You know I don't like all this etiquette of a thing apart from that, Selena, we are at home like our house with just three of us, me, you, and mom so why all the stress, it's not like your mom is around anyway" Jenny said with a pitiful look on her face as she remembered the devil-like woman that called herself a mother, an angel on screen, a demoness at home.

"Even if she is not home, you should at least behave like a proper lady, You will go to events and probably be married into a wealthy home and I don't want those upper-class ladies to use your lack of etiquette to attack you in future ok," Selena said gently with a hint of sadness on her voice.

The way she sounded made Jenny feel guilty because she knew that Selena's parent's inability to make time for their daughter was a forbidden topic in the house.

" Jenny! you should try and be more like your friend now stop all the chit-chat and let's eat, Jenny you are leading the prayer this morning " Olivia said sternly as she successfully changed the topic and at the same time punished Jenny because Jenny hates prayer because she is bad at it and fortunately, she did not try to talk her way out like she usually does.

A few minutes later

"Less I forget, are you guys done packing," Olivia said as she started clearing the table after breakfast.

" I'm done packing but I'm not sure of Jenny since she spent almost all her morning gossiping around the mansion," Selena said as she picked up the napkin and wiped the corner of her mouth elegantly.

"Lena! Mum don't worry, I'm almost done packing just a few more clothes and we will be ready to go, I have a hard time deciding the clothes to pack because I want to pick my best outfit" Jenny said as she gulped down a cup of milk and smile sheepishly.

" And why is that much of a problem, Jenny just pick some dress and let go, it's not like we are going on a vacation or something, we are just moving to the nearest mansion to school," Selena said nonchalantly as she finds her best friend attitude overreacting.

She believes that Jenny is over-excited about moving to a new mansion when it's not her first time being in a new place or environment and even some houses she has lived in are better than their new mansion.

"Of course, I have to select my clothes carefully because the estate we are moving to is different from other estates, V.l is full of wealthy young men and not married couples and old people," Jenny said seriously

"And also V.L is not far from Sin City Club and de Rose restaurant and even your mall is not far from there making that area a place exclusively for the rich and famous people, you can't see any people around there except for workers and it's easier for you to meet a potential life partner there rather than another estate because V.L is for the youth so I have to dress my best in order find a young master to bag quickly," Jenny said dreamily as her innocent eyes sparkle while she indulged herself in her fantasy.

Selena chuckles softly as she watches Jenny as she dreams of her love life, She knows that Jenny is looking for the right man especially since she knows that she has a boyfriend, Liam, the young master of one of the four great families, the Jones family.

A blissful smile enchants her face as she remembers her lover even though he's not extraordinary she still loves him with all her heart.
