Meeting The Neighbors

On the top floor of the V.L. group building, a young handsome man dressed in a tailor-made black suit that fit him perfectly is sitting on the chair, fully concentrated on the document in front of him, burying himself in his work without a care for the world.

A golden nameplate was placed on the table with the name " C.E.O Kelvin Campbell" curved on it.

Another handsome young man enters with a gold frame glass on his face, the grey suit he's putting on fits him perfectly giving him a sexy office vibe, especially with his serious look.

" Mr. Campbell, there is something that needs your attention," Albert said in a strictly professional manner.

" And what is that Albert, I thought I told you not to disturb me unless it's necessary," Kelvin said looking grumpy like someone that the world is owning money.

"A new salesperson sold your house in V.L. yesterday and the buyer is the secretary of The Evergreen group chairman, and the owner will be moving in today, we suspected that it is the Green family's first miss, the estate manager just found out about it today so I decided to Inform you, what should we do boss," Albert said calmly not minding his boss grumpy mood.

Immediately Kelvin heard what Albert said, his face got darker than before, he was in a bad mood before due to the news on the school forum, his workload was much and one stupid salesperson sold his house, it seems like today is not just his day with all the bad news he keeps receiving.

"Fire that salesperson and go and meet the buyers personally and try to convince them to give up the house, There is no way I'm selling my house," Kelvin said angrily.

"OK boss," Albert said calmly even though he wanted to protest against the firing of the salesperson but he knew that this was not the best time to talk to Kelvin about that.

James the parrot in their group has already released the news that Kelvin is in a bad mood this morning and being his friend for years, Albert knew that it's better not to try to talk him out of anything at the moment if he doesn't want to spend some nice time in Africa.

He leaves Kelvin's office to meet the buyer of the house as instructed by Kelvin with the hope that Thalia will not make it difficult for him because most of the house owners in V.L. are young masters and mistresses of wealthy families and they are usually hard to get along with.

A few minutes later Albert arrived at V.L estate, looking at the house in front of him, The house was not the biggest in the estate but it was at the best location in the estate and was personally designed by Kelvin himself, It had a very special meaning to him and also one of the reasons why he's not living there.

Albert presses the doorbell to alert the buyers of his arrival, a few minutes later a petite lady comes out of the house, he looks at her carefully and surely, she is not someone he knows and he can't hazard a guess of how she related to Mr. Green or the Green family.

"Maybe she's one Thalia lackey," he thought to himself

"Hello? Please who are you? " the lady said looking at Albert with an unfamiliar gaze even though her eyes sparkled at the sight of him.

" I'm Albert Cole from V.L, I would like to talk to you regarding your acquisition of this house, mind if I enter," Albert said in a strictly professional manner not minding the sparkle in the lady's eyes since he's already used to that kind of look from the opposite sex.

" I'm Jenny Thomas, Actually I'm not the owner but the owner is inside so please follow me," the lady said smiling sweetly at him.

Albert trails the lady as she leads him into the house, This is not Albert's first time being in the house so he's familiar with the structure but it still amazes him every time with the effort that Kelvin put into the construction of the house.

Even though the house is not a mansion, it still screams luxury with all the effort and money that Kelvin pours in, he practical pours all his feelings into the building to show his love and affection but unfortunately, he shakes his head as he remembers the forbidden topic, bringing himself back to the professional mode to prevent his emotion for getting the best out of him.

He entered the house and saw that they'd already placed furniture there because Kelvin had not placed any furniture in the house for some reason.

The lack of furniture in the house made it easy for people to think that it was up for sale and also the keys were placed with the estate manager with other keys in his office so partially the fault also lies with Kelvin.

" Jenny, who is that at the gate" a sweet voice comes from the stairs along with the heels making a clicking sound on the stairs as she walks down the stairs gracefully.

Albert felt dazed by the beauty in front of him, the lady's beauty was dazzling like the sun, and even though he is usually indifferent toward ladies because he has also seen his fair share of beautiful ladies but he can't help but compliment her in his heart because she is one of the most beautiful ladies he has ever seen in his life even though he did not let it show on his face as he maintains his professional look.

This lady in front of him is not the famous first miss of the Green family, Thalia Green, even though she also has the signature look of the Green family which is their Green eyes, and somehow has some similarities with Thalia Green and should even be in the same age group with her, she is not Thalia because she is more beautiful and sexy than Thalia and their bearing is not the same.

Albert has met Thalia many times at different occasions and dinner parties so it's easy for him to tell, while they both have the bearing of noble ladies, Thalia looks mischievous and childish with her eyes full of life like every other young lady while this lady is more mature and looks cunning and experienced but her eyes is a little lifeless like a doll which is uncommon among young ladies.

" It's someone from V.L. group, he's here to meet you regarding your acquisition of the house," the petite lady said.

"Really? Jenny, please go get some tea for our guest while I talk to him" the lady said gracefully.

" Hi, I'm Selena Green, How may I help," the lady said as she brought her hand forward and they shook each other hands.

" Good afternoon, ma'am, my name is Albert Cole, I'm the personal assistant of the C.E.O of the V.L. group and I'm regarding your acquisition of this house," Albert said calmly not minding the lady's overwhelming aura.

" Surely she's not an ordinary lady," he thought to himself because her aura is like that of an experienced businesswoman, her bearing speaks of her confidence and experience but it did not faze him because he's used to dealing with people with that aura, especially his crazy friend who is also his boss and he has made deals with many businessmen and women without losing to them.

"What is the problem if I may ask, I don't think it's normal for the P.A to the C.E.O of V.L.group to meet with a new buyer of a property in V.L estate so how may I be of help to you" Selena said calmly not minding that the P. A of one of the most powerful C.E.O and he's probably sent by his boss in front of her.

He intentionally mentioned his position in the V.L. group so that she could know that he was sent by his boss but she disappointed him by not showing any reaction.

Most people jump at the opportunity that the C.E.O of V.L. might need something from them to secure an opportunity to ask for a favor from him but this lady in front of him is not fazed.

"It's either she doesn't think a favor from Kelvin is important or she is pretending to be calm," he said to himself inwardly

"This is going to be hard," he thought to himself.
