His miserable existence continued until one fateful night when he met his demise due to unforeseen circumstances.

With a puzzled expression, Elder Liang listened to Alex's question. His face took on an unusual countenance as if the question had sparked a certain memory or emotion within him.

After a moment of silence, he finally answered, "I am unable to use the dagger." His voice trembled slightly, hinting at a deeper emotional significance behind those words.

Alex was taken aback by this response. What could Elder Liang possibly mean by saying he was unable to wield the dagger? It was a statement that raised more questions than it answered.
