This was not the first time he had tried to escape since the battle had commenced, but each time, the elder had effectively used the scary Magma Pillar to halt his progress, blocking his path and keeping him within their grasp.

While Alex was detained by Elder Jie Zhao's tactics, the rest of his adversaries seized the chance to close the gap that had opened between them. Jing Ping moved swiftly towards Alex, a victorious smirk playing on his lips.

"Do you genuinely believe you can elude us on this night?" Jing Ping inquired, his voice echoing through the late-night air, heavy with the scent of impending conflict.

Alex, undeterred by the overt threat, responded with a dismissive shrug, "As I've mentioned before, I was merely stretching my legs. They've become a bit stiff from all the playing around."
