Threat
Tera and the others were climbing down the edges of the hole. They saw a powerful beast but strangely they were cowering. They even ignored the group, which was really weird. Suddenly the shadows around them started to move.
*Swosh*
*Stab*
Lot's of giant spikes made of shadows stabbed a couple of the warriors that were around here. The area darkened and lots of humanoid shadows started to emerge from the ground and kill the group of warriors.
"What's this?" Tera shouted as she evaded the shadows. She then realized something, the power coming from the shadows was magic.
"Magic? This means" she mumbled.
She widened her eyes in fear she had only heard stories, but right in front of her the shadow element was being used. Realizing this she turned around and was about to shout.
"Retreat it's a sh…" but she was interrupted by a warm sensation in her chest.
When looking down she could see blood decorating a black and purple blade and her armor. She had been stabbed by a shadow. Her vision became blurry and after a few seconds died.
The shadow then kicked her body as he retracted its blade. Nearly everyone was killed except for five people, this included Cain.
Reality had set in that this threat was out of their league. It was clear when they killed Tera, all they could do now was wait for their death.
Just when the shadows were about to attack again a shockwave came out of nowhere destroying every shadow. After the shadows disappeared a half naked man could be seen on the floor. The five persons approached the man and saw he was still breathing.
Cain rushed towards him, "His breathing helped me out, we need to get him back to the station," Cain said.
The man had long hair that reached to his shoulders with a muscular build. On his arm a band tattoo could be seen that inside the tattoo had some types of symbols.
Cain didn't recognize this man from the exploration team that was sent here. What really bothered him was the fact that there was no trace of magic coming out of his body.
Still they decided to take him and interrogated him when he woke up.
Meanwhile in the South Station
Kai had gone and collected his beast armor from a blacksmith. He was happy with the results.
Made from the Gap Tigris Core this ring increases the user's Dex and strength by 10.
Made from the Blink Dogs this armor increases stamina by 5.

Kai headed to get a mission, and quickly found a mission and was approved instantly. It was a low rank exploration mission. That was on the east jungle outskirts.
It was to confirm the breeding location of a bird-like beast called Dig Bird. This time the mission included a picture of the bird.
Kai was now paying more attention to the description of the mission since the last incident.
The bird had rock like feathers, giving it a robust build. It was flightless thanks to its weight and like the name suggested it dug into the ground and appeared like a rock.
Before he went out he saw news reports of riots against the military. The news stated that it was for the Board City Incident. The people blame the military for ordering Blaze Savage to act.
"The riots are getting worse," Kai said.
"Let's head out, this is an exploration mission. It's said that it will take up to two weeks if I take my time,the good thing is I can kill any beast if they get in my way without reporting it " Kai said, while he headed outside and into the jungle of the island.
