A week later.

Cain could be seen looking through a glass wall into another room. Inside that room was the man that Cain had taken in, the man was still unconscious he had machines attached to him monitoring his heart rate.

"Are you absolutely sure?" Cain said to a Dr. with a white robe.

"This device is the most advanced Astro Tower sent for this special occasion" The Dr. said as he showed the results.

-0% Magic Affinity- That was the only thing that was in writing on the paper the rest were graphs and numbers.

"Is this even possible?" Cain asked.

"No, even normal people like myself have at least 1% of Magic Affinity, since the meteor impacted. It's as if he was not present on earth at the time" The Dr. said.

Cain frowned upon hearing this, he suspected this man to be the one that attacked the expedition group but it was impossible since he had no trace of magic. "You said Astro Hospital Tower sent that device right?" the Dr. nodded as he put away the device in a metal briefcase.

"What does Astro Tower want with a magicless man?" Cain questioned in his head.

Steps could be heard coming towards Cain which made him turn around. Upon seeing the person he quickly lowered his head. A woman with wild long blonde hair could be seen walking toward him, the woman was a beauty with her stunning body that was round on all the perfect places and lean on the other. Her pale smooth skin almost glistened against the light and her piercing blue eyes fitted her perfectly. Even Captain Nika would find it difficult to compete with her beauty.

She wore a tight black chestplate that amplified her attributes, the armor had a dragon symbol in the back, she also wore cargo pants and combat boots. In her hand black armor gauntlets that match her chestplate. When she saw Cain she smiled mockingly, "Well, well, if it isn't Cain Black the new rising star said to be the one who will reach SSS rank the fastest, yet you can't even make a contract with a spirit. So sad,"she said.

"It's nice to meet you again, Miss Hunter," Cain said.

"Oh did our last meeting give you manners? I remember you called me by my first name last time and in a very disrespectful way too" She said.

Other warriors passed by and whispered.

"That's Lionnel's strongest, Peak SSS rank Alexandra Hunter. It's said that she may be the next Z rank" Some whispered around them while walking.

"Alexandra Hunter, please accompany us" A man with a lion crest in his uniform said bowing respectfully.

"Well, it seems I can't play around with you Cain, I wish you luck in your contract" She mocked Cain before leaving, this made Cain grit his teeth in anger.

"Bitch, I'll show you" He thought in anger.

He glanced at the man behind the glass as he still was sure that this man was the one that killed everyone.

"I just have this feeling about him, '' Cain said as he walked away.

Another week had passed

A figure could be seen covered in blood coming out of the jungle. It was Kai, his beard had grown out a little and his hair was longer than before. His wavy hair now looked a bit wild since it was longer.

The aura around him looked more powerful and it escaped his body unconsciously. Under his eyes bags could be seen, it was clear that he hadn't slept well. Despite that he looked more alert than ever, but upon seeing the wall a slight smile appeared in his face.

"Finally it's over, I thought two weeks would go by quicker than that" Kai said while he stretched.

"But in the end it was worth it," Kai said.

"But my control is going up so slow" He said as he looked at his stats. He had leveled up a lot since he was killing a lot of beasts for the past two weeks.

He entered the wall and all eyes were on him. He looked different but not in a bad way. He went to the desk and saw the red-haired woman named Astrid there. She was curre singing some papers and hadn't looked up.

"Hey, here's the mission report," Kai said, sliding some photos on the counter.

Seeing this Astrid looked up and widened her eyes, seeing Kai. She then quickly changed her face to her normal self.

"Welcome back and congratulations on your exploration mission. Here you go you can cash out the reward tomorrow" She said as she waved goodbye to Kai.

"I'm going to sleep, I feel so tired" Kai thought as he headed to his room.

Astrid looked at Kai walking away and frowned. "To think he would reach High A rank this fast, just who is this guy?" she thought.

Kai took a shower before changing into comfortable clothes. He then approached the bed and threw himself in it, instantly he fell asleep.

Kai had slept for a whole day before waking up. He went to cash out the reward. After getting his money he went back to his room intending to go back to sleep. When he arrived he saw a card in front of his door.

He grabbed it and entered, he sat down in the bed and opened the card. He first looked at who was singing the card which made him widened his eyes.
