His Highness Appears

"Roar—" The creature let out a deafening roar as it soared into the sky.

Helian Weiwei's expression changed, and she contemplated turning sideways, but an unseen force seemed to bind her feet, rendering her struggles ineffective.

Warcraft, the most ferocious beast in the Spirit Realm Forest, possessed a body filled with poison. Only warriors of the golden rank dared to confront it, while others, no matter how cunning, became its prey.

"The taste of humans, so fragrant, so fragrant," repeated the beast, its eyes red and fangs exposed, resembling a deranged child.

This sudden occurrence unsettled Helian Weiwei. Unlike divine beasts, which possessed inherent spiritual abilities, Warcraft lacked such traits and couldn't speak.

Consequently, her chances of survival diminished.

Gripping the dagger tightly, Helian Weiwei began to concentrate the air around her. As a manipulative warrior, she could harness the power of wind.

Sensing something, the monster grew displeased with the feeble resistance of this frail human attempting to defy its appetite. It stamped its foot forcefully.

Helian Weiwei's body flew out like a broken kite, struck by a bolt of lightning. She felt as though her entire being was being torn apart, and a mixture of black and red blood gushed from her chest.

This was no ordinary poisonous blood; it was the fusion of her inner power and true power, the most venomous essence blood expelled from her body.

Amusing!

She had hunted countless tigers with the Queen of Arms. How could she be defeated in such a place?

With a sudden jerk, Helian Weiwei unknowingly touched a meridian, triggering an inexplicably powerful and profound energy within her body.

Startled by this force, her heart trembled, and a trace of fear crept in—a rarity for someone as prideful as her.

Unable to control her body, she stiffened and plummeted to the ground.

She couldn't perceive the external world; all she felt was her body on the verge of being torn apart, with excruciating pain slashing through every inch of her being.

The overwhelming energy surged relentlessly, flowing towards her dantian. With each breakthrough, it ripped through her fused true power and inner power, inch by inch.

What on earth was happening? Where did this strange energy come from? What was its purpose?

As the immense power gradually eroded her inner strength, Helian Weiwei's mind was suddenly struck with two words—regurgitation.

Why was this happening? She couldn't comprehend it.

However, the situation was dire. The force was dominant and domineering, exuding an ancient and archaic essence.

Soon, her inner force would encounter problems. If it, too, was devoured, she would be the next victim in imminent danger.

With these thoughts, Helian Weiwei smiled like a demon.

Want to devour her?

Ask her permission!

Tightening her palm, she confronted the strange force head-on.

Two opposing forces, vastly different, clashed like equally formidable masters.

Gradually, the strange force fused with Helian Weiwei's inner force!

Even the fallen leaves around her seemed to transform.

Boom!

A massive pillar-like light, tinged with a hint of destruction, burst forth, its aura surging like thunder rushing through the forest.

The attack struck the monster's forelimbs, the very limbs that sought to tear Helian Weiwei apart.

"Whoosh!" A roar of pain reverberated through the sky.

In anguish, the demon beast recoiled, uncertain of the change that had occurred within Helian Weiwei. The aura from ancient times made it retreat and flee, no longer daring to approach.

Helian Weiwei, too, sensed her transformed strength, slowly retracting her palm, the lingering anger unabated.

Observing the white cat staring at her, she appeared somewhat incredulous. "You've advanced?"

"Perhaps." Helian Weiwei flexed her wrist, sensing that her change was more than a mere advancement.

The white cat locked eyes with her, its gaze profound. "You can go and kill the Warcraft from earlier. For your warriors, the inner dan of the Warcraft serves as a great supplement."

Prompted by the reminder, Helian Weiwei recalled that Yuan Hao had suggested she consume a magic pill before. Now, Yuan Hao inexplicably fell into a deep sleep, and she speculated that consuming the magic pill might awaken him.

Of course, this remained mere speculation on her part.

However, Helian Weiwei was always pragmatic. Since the magic pill posed no harm to her, it was better to take it first!

With that in mind, Helian Weiwei immediately stood on her tiptoes and chased after the direction in which the monster had disappeared.

The white cat showed no intention of staying behind either, leaping onto Helian Weiwei's shoulder with a flick of its paws.

The duo, one human and one feline, cooperated seamlessly, equally excited about hunting a monster.

Little did they expect that the monster was resilient enough to encounter other individuals who had just arrived.

The monster seemed irritated by the continuous appearance of humans, coupled with the recent attack from Helian Weiwei. It now regarded any human with displeasure, its hunger overriding all else.

"Eat, eat..." The monster opened its mouth towards the newcomer, the sound of thunder resounding across the forest, even more powerful than before.

The man lazily regarded the monster before him. Sunlight illuminated his pristine white attire and jet-black hair, exuding an air of ascetic beauty. His tone was cold and devoid of warmth, commanding in nature. Perhaps due to his long-held position, he spoke with authority.

This displeased Warcraft!

What the!

Ordinarily, when humans encountered it, they would bow down, fearing to incur its wrath!

But today, when facing these two individuals, one seemed more unafraid of death than the other!

"Roar!" The creature raised its head and roared, lunging toward the man with outstretched claws!

Facing such a behemoth, the man made no effort to evade. Hirai Wubo's deep eyes calmly rose, his slender and pale right hand gradually lifting. Ivory-white fingers curled, emanating a mixed golden and red radiance that enveloped his entire hand.

The demon beast immediately sensed something amiss, trembling all over. It looked upon this scene with horror, swiftly retreating while its eyes betrayed fear!

It understood that it could not afford to provoke this person.

Not because of their formidable presence.

It was because it hadn't caught sight of the shadow behind the man.

A fire unicorn!

The king of all beasts, a fire unicorn!

Who possessed such tremendous power that even the fire unicorn acknowledged their authority?

Regret filled the heart of the Warcraft. If only it had let go when the man instructed it to step aside earlier. Now, it stood no chance of escaping the fire unicorn's pursuit!

"Roar!"

Another resounding roar, even more miserable and vexing than before, echoed through the air.

In a flash of fire, the ground showed no trace of the Warcraft!

All the beasts in the Spirit Realm Forest grew restless upon hearing this cry.

Even the white cat perched on Helian Weiwei's shoulder raised its tail, sensing an unusual surge of oppression.

Helian Weiwei furrowed her brows and landed on the ground.

The branches around her swayed, the wind howled, and dark clouds loomed. Then, emerging from the jungle were a pair of tall and robust legs, followed by a belt adorned with black roses and a golden-trimmed hem. Finally, a partially silver-masked face and ink-like hair cascading down the sides, exuding a strong ascetic aura and profound indifference, as if a deity from the immortal realm...

Could it be... the Third Prince?
