Unfinished Business

In the last couple of years that past, Ha-nuel had tried his best to put what transpired between him and Charlotte behind him but no matter how hard he tried he was still very traumatized by that experience.

He was also still very hurt by the fact that Haewon had not given him listening ears. The stigma of being thought of as a rapist by someone as dear to his heart as Haewon, was one he had no idea how to live with no matter how many therapists he visited.

He had considered going to her family but he had not been able to bring himself to even tell his own family about it. It would always be his words against Charlotte's and since he had no evidence, he didn't want to be put in a situation where his own family and loved ones would doubt him like Haewon was doing.

After his graduation he had been so reluctant to come back home to Korea especially when his mother told him that Haewon was back and her parents were throwing a big welcome party for her.
