To Love And To Hate

Not long after Jake left to freshen up, Regina who had been asleep, woke up and when she couldn't find Jake anywhere in her room, her heart broke.

Had he been so mad that he abandoned her here in the hospital after dropping her? She mused as she looked around the bed for her phone, but neither her phone nor her bag was there.

It was only then that it occurred to her that in Jake's hurry to get her to the hospital he might have left her things behind.

She sighed as she pressed the button by her bedside to call for a nurse and almost immediately the nurse from earlier came in to attend to her.

"Please where is the person who brought me in?" Regina asked, wanting to know for sure if he had abandoned her or not so she would know her next course of action.

"He left a while ago to freshen up and get you something to eat when you wake up. He asked me to keep an eye on you," the nurse explained as she looked at the monitor to observe her vitals.
