I run as fast as I could for the cargo bay, pulling Tracy along with me. I see two parachutes and two jumpsuits along the way and grab them. I turn and toss one set of each to Tracy.
"What do I need this for?" She screamed at me.
"Do you want to live?" I asked her putting the parachute and jumpsuit on.
"Yes." She said following my lead.
"Then put the damn thing on." I hurried her.
We make our way as face as we can to the back of the plane. As we got closer I heard the glass breaking. I felt the suction pulling us to the window the mystery man shot. When we finally made it to the stairs to go to the cargo bay area. There was luggage everywhere. Stacks beyond stacks of luggage.
"We are looking for a red button." I say turning to make sure she was fastened in right.
"Satisfied?" Tracy asked sarcastically.
I pranced in place at my inspection, happy. "Yes." I said stoicly. Turning and looking for the red button as we walked. Moving piles of luggage in our search.
When I found it at the back of the cargo bay, I yelled, "move your ass, and hold on." She grabbed some straps immediately. I pushed the red button. We felt the pull of the wind. Snow was blowing into the plane. The blizzard is here. I felt it so hard my feet gave and I slid straight off the opening . I yelled over my shoulder, "JUMP!" To Tracy.
The last thing I saw before plummeting to the ground was Tracey running at me. I saw the plane briefly then nothing but snow was all I saw. I twisted back around and saw Tracy above me. The plane was still with us going down. Everything was flying out of the cargo bay and the big gaping hole in the very front of the plane. People, bags, boxes, pets in containers, were all flying around us in the windy snow.
The wind snatched me away from her. So far that I almost couldn't see her. My heart was beating wildly in my chest. We were free falling. There was nothing hitting me. Nothing around for miles. All I could see was white. The feeling was scary down right horrifying. I screamed scared out of my mind. I don't even know how close to the ground we are. The wind feels like it's peeling my skin off even with the jumpsuit on. Theirs no other feeling than the tingly feel I have in my muscles the feel of being the heaviest thing around you. The need to put my feet on something solid. It intensifies to the max. Making it almost painful.
Just as I saw Tracy she ran into me. She was freaking out. Screaming and crying, kicking and pulling. I immediately pulled her cord to release her parachute and kicked away from her as her parachute shot out. The wind snatched her out of my sight, above and away.
I pulled my own cord but it didn't release. My heart hit the floor when nothing happen. I snatched several times and nothing happen, pulling harder with every snatch. I gave up and tried the other cord. I snatched several times but nothing happen. Did I grabbed a faulty parachute? So I snatched both cords and finally one give to my relief. It snatched me to a stop from free falling. It hurt pretty badly. God I hope Tracy is ok. Just as I thought that. I felt my parachute snatch me up and around. The wind collapsed my parachute within seconds of the snow hitting it. I screamed just as I saw the plane coming into view really fast. The entire top of the plane above the seats, was gone.
The plane got so close to me I could reach out and touch the plane. Before I got snatched backwards by the wind again. When I collided with Tracy we start free falling again. My heart pounded again as I done everything to get the parachute loose.
I grabbed Tracy's hands and wrapped them around me firmly, and unhooked her parachute and done the same to mine. Mine was a bit trickier. It was hard to pull myself up to get it unhooked.
I have no idea how close to the ground I am now. We could be about to smack the ground and I'd never know, or hit the trees. my heart hits my feet at my owns thoughts. The wind suddenly quick blowing so hard and the parachute became easier to take off. When it was completely loose, I pulled Tracy's second cord just as it started coming out, I kicked away from her. Freeing her second parachute. I pulled my cord, and released my second chance parachute. My heart beat was still painfully hard as I grew more and more scared. neither of us have another parachute. I can't afford to make a mistake. I looked down and too my horror, I saw tree tops. Just barely saw a forest forming threw the snow. This is going to hurt so bad, but luckily the wind wasn't blowing that bad right this second. As the trees come completely into view I'm almost in tears hoping the wind doesn't pick back up.
I see Tracy looking around she's a little further up than me. She has almost passed out from freaking out in the freefall from the plane. We get closer to the trees and I notice wolves running around on the ground in the snow. They were beautiful, carrying all kinds of colors. Black, white, grey, tan, brown, and more. There was hundreds of the creatures running around. I smile, knowing we just survived a plane crash, and free falling in a blizzard, just to die when we hit the ground by getting eat by wolves. As we emerged the tree tops, the wind picked back up and started snatching us around again. The wolves all scattered, but not before they saw us landing.
As we got snatched by the wind we were very quickly stuck in a tree being tangled in the trees. The wind blew so hard my head hit a branch hard, right above my ear, I felt blood run down to my forehead, then to the other side. The start dripping, and getting lost in the snow. My head hurts, my vision blurry, my heart hammering. Just then I saw a gray wolf on the branch above me, growling. Then everything went dark.
