Principle of a Good Leader

“Accept your place here?” Ryan raised a brow and crossed his arms over his chest.

Prim of Baron Illus’s retainers nodded respectfully.

“We are a separate group, and so, it makes sense for one of us to be one of the three volunteers if we wish to convey our opinion to you, Master Ryan.”

Prim was a woman in her early twenties. She had short dark hair and brown eyes. She had great facial features, but most of it was concealed by the helmet that she wore.

“I see. Very well, that is acceptable. Who else wants to come forward?” Ryan accepted the woman’s role and just simply moved on.

Prim paused, almost as if expecting a longer conversation, but there wasn’t anything else she could do but stand guard.

After some time and bickering, two other guards were pushed out of the crowd and approached Master Ryan.

“We’re here, Master Ryan. My name is Lin.” A dark-haired young man said. Compared to Steward Lewis or Tom, the man was shorter but he stood taller.
