After Alan succeeded in fixing the cockpit, he and his friends pursued Brunch's kidnappers.
"Maybe we'll make it by night," Alan said while continuing to step on the accelerator. "So, get ready."
"Al." Celia's voice started to crack. "Are you going to kill them?"
"Only if necessary," Alan replied in a flat tone. "If you don't want to go on this quest, you can stand still, Celia."
The female fighter massaged her forehead. "I'll still go. Brunch is my friend."
"Celia, look at me." Haruna stood in front of that light-brown-haired girl. "You must have a strong resolve. I don't know anything about this world due to memory loss, but I know we must use whatever means necessary to save Brunch."
Celia closed her eyes, took a deep breath, then nodded. "Yeah, you're right."
"And one more thing we need to remember, Celia," Alan added. "This world is still a game. No matter how similar they are to the humans in our world, they are still NPCs."
