Jin Yuchen saved Gu Hui

The armies of the Wang, Han, and Song dynasties were well-prepared to attack the Jin dynasty. In a matter of minutes, they crossed the border between the Jin and Wang dynasties, which was now in Gu Province. They swiftly launched attacks on the villages, quickly spreading throughout the entire province. This turn of events shocked Jin Yuchen and his army.

Realizing the dire situation, Jin Yuchen urgently sent a messenger to the capital of the Jin dynasty to request reinforcements. The battlefield was engulfed in the flames of war, with the sounds of clashing steel, battle cries, and the whizzing of arrows filling the air.

Jin Yuchen, a skilled and fearless warrior, stood tall amidst the chaos, wielding his weapon with determination to repel the enemy and protect his dynasty. His eyes burned with resolve as he surveyed the bloody scene. Despite the advancing enemy forces, Jin Yuchen fearlessly dispatched each and every foe, unmatched in his martial prowess and unwavering in his mission to defend his dynasty.

On the other side, Gu Hui, the princess of the Gu dynasty, fought alongside the enemy with a sword she had taken from a fallen soldier. Trained in martial arts, swordsmanship, and various other skills, she made it her priority to protect the children, women, and elderly caught in the midst of battle as the enemy forces advanced further into the towns.

Unaware of her surroundings while engaged in fight , Gu Hui unexpectedly found herself in the heart of the main battle. There, she witnessed the powerful Prince Wang, along with the generals from the Han and Song dynasties, engaging Crown Prince Jin Yuchen, Lou Yao, Zhong Shan Shan, and other soldiers. Realizing Jin Yuchen should not see her, Gu Hui contemplated making a quick escape. However, before she could flee, an arrow aimed for her heart was suddenly deflected by a strong arm that pulled her into its protective embrace.

The arrow struck the person shielding Gu Hui, piercing their heart. Covered in the person's blood, Gu Hui struggled to bear their weight and eventually laid them gently on the ground. She gazed upon their face and realized it was none other than Jin Yuchen himself, who looked at her with blurry eyes and murmured, "Wh... where were you?" before losing consciousness.

Lou Yao, witnessing the scene, cried out, "Your Royal Highness," and rushed to Jin Yuchen's side. He, too, was taken aback upon seeing Gu Hui, but his primary concern was the crown prince. Zhong Shan Shan and the other soldiers formed a protective circle around Jin Yuchen.

The sight of Jin Yuchen in such a state brought joy to the enemy forces, who took advantage of the situation, intensifying their attacks with renewed vigor and strength.

Now, Jin Yuchen lay in his tent, being attended to by a few royal doctors and nurses who dressed his wounds. Outside the tent, loyal generals, Lou Yao, and Zhong Shan Shan anxiously awaited news of Jin Yuchen's health.

Finally, the tent opened, and a royal doctor emerged, bowing his head. "Greetings," he began. "His Royal Highness is out of danger. Within one to two hours, he will regain consciousness. However, the wound is severe, and it will take several months for him to make a full recovery."

Relieved by the news of the crown prince's well-being, everyone expressed their happiness. Lou Yao turned to Zhong Shan Shan and remarked, "While it's a relief that the crown prince is recovering, we must ensure such a situation does not occur again. We have lost a significant number of soldiers and depleted our resources due to this battle. We need to formulate a quick plan."

Zhong Shan Shan nodded in agreement, acknowledging the truth in Lou Yao's words.

Around 8 pm, General Zhou Tan arrived at the border with 30,000 soldiers, bringing all necessary supplies for the upcoming battle. Jin Yuchen, eagerly anticipating Zhou Tan's arrival after hearing the news, walked out of his tent.

General Zhou Tan, Lou Yao, and Zhong Shan Shan stood at the forefront, while the rest of the soldiers stood behind them. General Zhou Tan kneeled down and said, "All hail to the crown prince." The guards followed suit, proclaiming, "Long live the crown prince."

" Long live the crown prince"

"Long live the crown prince"

Jin Yuchen nodded and stated, "Today, we once again fight for our dynasty. Throughout history, we have always emerged victorious, and this battle shall be no different. We will triumph over the forces of the Wang, Han, and Song dynasties."

The soldiers, filled with renewed strength and determination, shouted with powerful voices, "Long live the Crown Prince!"

"Long Live the crown prince"

" God save the Jin dynasty"

After discussing the battle plans for the following day, Jin Yuchen retired to his tent. Zhong Shan Shan, Lou Yao, and the special guards stood watch outside, while General Zhou Tan went to his own tent to rest.

In the middle of the night, a figure dressed entirely in black sneaked into the royal barracks, searching for the tent of the crown prince. After a few minutes, the person spotted the most heavily guarded tent, correctly assuming it belonged to the crown prince.

The person lit a firecracker and threw it in the opposite direction of the tent, causing the guards to panic and divert their attention. Taking advantage of the commotion, Zhong Shan Shan and Lou Yao exchanged glances and hurried toward the noise.

Seizing the opportunity, Gu Hui stealthily entered the tent. She removed her face mask, revealing her identity. She didn't intend to be here, but she felt indebted to the person who had saved her life. It wasn't necessarily gratitude from the depths of her heart, but rather a recognition that he fought for the well-being of her Gu dynasty. If he remained injured, her people would suffer. And so, she made the decision to repay the favor and give him medicine to quickly recover.

It's not like that Jin dynasty lack the resourceful doctor , herbs or medicine but the medicine she bought was highly effective and was found only in the Gu dynasty.
