The Holy Land Mariejois is the center of the World Government and home to the noble Celestial Dragons. It's known for its stunning scenery, luxurious buildings, and the purest air in the world.
However, when Whitebeard arrived with the World Government's personnel, his first impression was far from admiration. He didn't find it beautiful; instead, it felt like a kind of hell.
Just outside the World Government conference hall, a Celestial Dragon was bullying a princess from an allied nation.
No one dared to intervene, which made Whitebeard furious.
After getting off the carriage, Whitebeard rushed over, arriving at the scene instantly. He grabbed the arm of the Celestial Dragon just as he was about to slap the princess.
"Who are you? How dare you stop me? Do you know who I am?" the Celestial Dragon said arrogantly. His words only fueled Whitebeard's anger.
"Can you tell me what happened just now?" Whitebeard asked, ignoring the Celestial Dragon and turning to the princess instead.
"My name is Hemei," the princess replied.
"I wanted to stay here for a while after the World Summit because the environment is so beautiful. But today, while I was walking, I encountered him. He claimed I blocked his mount's path, causing him trouble, and came down to teach me a lesson."
Several members of the World Summit were nearby, and they nodded one after another.
"Oh, I see," Whitebeard nodded, understanding the situation. He didn't need to ask further; he knew it was the Celestial Dragon causing the trouble.
"Mount?" Whitebeard looked over and saw Jack being used as a mount, covered in dirt, weeds and various wounds appeared in his body that were still leaking blood.
"It's surprising to see one of the three Plagues being used as a mount here. Even if he's an enemy, I can't accept this…" Whitebeard said calmly.
"How dare you interfere with my affairs? Do you know this is the World Government?!" the Celestial Dragon said, still held by Whitebeard, showing no fear.
Upon hearing that, Whitebeard's eyes grew cold. With a slight twist of his hands, he broke the Celestial Dragon's arms, instantly reducing them to a pile of dust.
"Ahhhhhhhh!" The Celestial Dragon screamed in pain.
Whitebeard was concerned that the Celestial Dragon might die from the injury, though he knew they were unlikely to die so easily.
He also wanted to avoid any potential contamination of his bloodline by the Celestial Dragon's presence.
"Ah, Luci, kill him for me!" the Celestial Dragon shouted in pain.
However, Luci, the Celestial Dragon's subordinate, did not dare to attack. He knew it was Whitebeard, and everyone present recognized him. Only the Celestial Dragon seemed unaware.
"Luci, didn't you hear me? Kill him!" the Celestial Dragon kept shouting, but no one paid any attention.
"Princess, just show me how he struck you, and strike back," Whitebeard said to Kazumi.
"Okay, thank you," Hemei said cautiously. She stepped forward and raised her hand to slap.
The Celestial Dragon tried to resist, but his body was instantly restrained and unable to move.
Hemei smoothly left several slap marks on the Celestial Dragon's face. She smiled and said, "I didn't expect to be able to fight a Celestial Dragon. Whitebeard-sama, you're truly a legend."
"Guurararara, are you satisfied? If not, I'll execute him next." Whitebeard's tone turned cold, and he pressed his powerful force against the Celestial Dragon.
Whitebeard's powerful force crushed the Celestial Dragon, making it impossible to breathe. His bones, muscles, and internal organs were destroyed, leading to his immediate death.
Whitebeard used his tremor powers to reduce the Celestial Dragon's body to dust, which scattered in the air.
Everyone was stunned by his actions. Kong and the others quickly arrived at the scene.
"Whitebeard, you actually killed a Celestial Dragon. Well, there's no use thinking on it. Just move on," Kong said, a bit surprised but resigned.
He knew they couldn't pursue Whitebeard now, and in a way, it might be for the best.
"Since I saw it, I had to act. And now that the owner is dead, the mount should be freed," Whitebeard said.
"We'll send him to Impel Down. Whitebeard, please follow me," Kong replied.
As Whitebeard left, the people present continued to discuss and admire the display of power he had just shown.
Kong first took Whitebeard to meet the Five Elders, who then personally led him to see Lord Im.
In the hall, Whitebeard encountered Lord Im, a mysterious and very beautiful woman.
"Leave us" Lord Im said to the Five Elders, dismissing them.
Once they were gone, she turned to Whitebeard and asked, "I hear you killed a Celestial Dragons as soon as you arrived?"
"Will this affect our negotiation?" Whitebeard asked.
"Not at all," Lord Im replied with a shake of her head. "It's just a warm-up. We'll discuss the real topics soon."
"If people like that can hold power, it's a disaster for the government," Whitebeard said calmly.
"Of course, I will kill them."
Lord Im nodded and replied, "You're right. But their bloodline is what gives them their status."
"Bloodline?" Whitebeard asked.
"Yes," Lord Im replied. "The Celestial Dragons are descendants of the original leaders who founded the World Government. Due to an ancient contract, I can't take action against them without breaking the agreement made by they ancestors."
"So, you can't accept them, but you can't interfere with them either?" Whitebeard asked.
"Yes, exactly," Lord Im confirmed.
"In that case, you should thank me. I can help you deal with the other Celestial Dragons," Whitebeard offered.
"Not all Celestial Dragons are villains. Some are just spoiled and arrogant, but they haven't done much sins," Lord Im explained.
"Well, I just mentioned it casually. If you're not interested, let's start the negotiation," Whitebeard said with a shrug.
