After the meeting, everyone returned to their work. Bright had a strong desire to talk to Day, but he was intercepted by Day's manager who wanted to discuss the project. Bright sought Day's forgiveness and wanted to explain everything that had caused the misunderstanding.
Meanwhile, Day excused himself and went to the washroom. Seeing Bright after such a long time stirred mixed emotions within him. He couldn't hold back his tears and longed to embrace Bright tightly. Standing in front of the mirror, a smile of joy and love appeared on his face, but it quickly faded as he remembered the betrayal inflicted upon him by Bright. Despite still loving Bright, he couldn't accept the betrayal.
After washing his face and collecting himself, Day returned to his office. Bright, being popular, attracted the admiration of everyone in the company. They wanted selfies and autographs, leaving Bright too occupied to talk to Day. Eventually, Bright had to leave due to his schedule.
Day often worked late, constantly thinking about Bright. To distract himself, he immersed himself in work. His secretary brought him his usual morning Matcha latte, surprising him by revealing that it was already morning. Day's secretary noticed his unchanged clothes from the previous day but refrained from commenting due to Day's preference of only discussing work matters. Despite appearing strong and active on the outside, Day had been battling immense stress and insomnia for years. In fact, he was in the worst state imaginable. He briefly returned home to change his clothes before heading back to the office, neglecting meals and even enduring a high fever.
On the other hand, Bright was determined to set things right with Day. However, upon arriving at the company, he was taken aback to see Day holding hands with someone. The person embraced Day, and they both got into a car and drove away.
