Despite feeling sick and tired, Day mustered the strength to go to the office. As he entered, a man wearing a mask surprised him with a hug from behind. Startled, Day instinctively tried to punch the person, but they swiftly dodged the blow and revealed themselves to be Marcus, Day's best friend and Max's brother. Marcus had a handsome face and bright, sparkling eyes.
"Marcus! When did you come back?" Day asked in surprise, greeting Marcus with a warm smile and a hug.
"Today, my friend," Marcus replied happily. Playfully, he pretended to kiss Day, who laughed and gently pushed him away, saying, "Come on, you never change."
Marcus had always had a big crush on Day and had confessed his feelings several times, but Day had always seen him as just a friend.
Just then, Bright arrived with the intention of clearing up any misunderstandings that had caused their separation. When he saw Marcus and Day together, he was taken aback. Angrily, he approached them, but Day noticed him and quickly got into Marcus's car, intentionally ignoring Bright.
Feeling hurt, Bright waited at the company for hours. He only knew about Day's workplace and had no idea where else to find them, so he stubbornly remained there despite the company's staff and manager asking him to leave, knowing that Day wouldn't return until morning.
Finally, as morning came, Day and Marcus arrived. Marcus had dropped Day off at work. When Bright saw them entering, Marcus leaned on Day playfully and jokingly asked, "How about a goodbye kiss?" with a cute smile.
Overwhelmed by a mix of emotions, Bright rushed toward them and forcefully pushed Marcus away. Day, now angry, pushed Bright back and demanded, "What the hell is wrong with you?" Day extended a helping hand to Marcus, showing a mix of concern and frustration. "What's wrong with me? No, what's wrong with you? What do you think you're doing?" Bright yelled back at Day, his hurt evident in his voice.
Enraged, Marcus tried to throw a punch at Bright, but Day quickly stepped in and stopped him. "You can go," Day firmly told Marcus. Confused and surprised, Marcus asked, "What? But..." Day interrupted him, cutting off his words. "This is between us. It doesn't involve you."
Taking hold of Bright's hand, Day guided him into the car and drove away to his home. Day didn't want their relationship to be exposed, leaving no room for a conversation with Bright at the office.
