The Triumph of Gu Qing: Barbecue, Exploration, and Village Extermination

Gu Qing brought only one Silver Loom Puppet with him, while the remaining two stayed behind to guard the base.

Due to the loose-fitting robe, Gu Qing found it inconvenient to move, so he decided to use the Silver Loom Puppet as a mount. He rode on its shoulder, taking advantage of its height to see farther.

The system had already scanned a radius of one kilometer and transformed it into a flatland. Gu Qing spotted a faint green spot in the distance and directed the Silver Loom Puppet towards it.

After a while, he arrived nearby and discovered a dense forest with a vegetable garden in front of it. Presumably, this was the Gu family's cultivated vegetable garden. Gu Qing dismounted the Silver Loom Puppet and entered the vegetable garden.

Although the vegetables were fresh, Gu Qing, being a meat lover, had no interest in them. Nevertheless, having something to eat was better than nothing. He commanded the Silver Loom Puppet, "Go into the forest and see if there are any living creatures. Hunt one and bring it back."

The Silver Loom Puppet received the order and set off, while Gu Qing continued picking vegetables.

When Gu Qing had gathered a large handful of vegetables, the Silver Loom Puppet returned, carrying a plump wild hare.

As soon as he saw the hare, Gu Qing's eyes gleamed with excitement. He immediately discarded the vegetables in his arms, climbed onto the Silver Loom Puppet's shoulder, and exclaimed, "Let's go, we're returning to camp in triumph!"

Upon reaching the base, Gu Qing faced another challenge. Despite being a food enthusiast, his culinary skills were limited to cooking instant noodles. Handling the wild hare posed a bit of a challenge in this world without internet assistance.

Fortunately, the base's kitchen equipment was relatively complete, and Gu Qing managed to find barbecue tools. He set up the equipment outside the base and prepared for a wilderness barbecue.

Though inexperienced in dealing with wild game, Gu Qing had performed numerous dissections on human bodies. Applying the same mindset, he reached out with a butcher knife towards the dead rabbit.

Just then, a prompt from the system interrupted him: "Host, the primary spy satellite is ready."

Gu Qing, in the process of skinning the rabbit, heard the system reminder. He decided to postpone dealing with the dead rabbit, casually wiped his hands, which were slightly stained with blood, on his robe, and walked back into the Doomsday Base.

Gu Qing sat down on the gilded chair, opened the topographic map on the screen, and selected a location near the Doomsday Base. "Alright, let's establish it here."

Then he asked the system, "How many kill points do I have left?"

"The host has 920 kill points remaining," the system replied.

Gu Qing nodded and said, "Produce 30 units of primary simulation robots."

Returning to the topographic map, which had expanded significantly, Gu Qing saw that his current location was in the middle of a vast expanse of white icy, and snowy region in the extreme north.

A small green area appeared below the map, indicating signs of life.

"Understood. Estimated completion in 5 hours," the system responded.

Gu Qing calculated that it would take 5 hours to produce 30 units of primary simulation robots, meaning 10 minutes per unit. If he were to manufacture them continuously without interruption, he would only be able to produce 144 units in a day.

However, he had only 20 kill points remaining, which was insufficient to exchange for a primary puppet.

After completing his tasks within the base, Gu Qing eagerly continued his barbecue endeavor outside. He instructed the Silver Loom Puppet to gather firewood from the nearby forest and retrieved a fire starter from the base kitchen. With everything ready, he watched the rising smoke and flickering flames, listening to the sizzling sound as the rabbit meat cooked. A sense of satisfaction filled his heart.

Despite the lack of seasonings and his mediocre barbecue skills, this was Gu Qing's first meal prepared by his own hands in this world. Coupled with his genuine hunger, he savored the food with delight.

As night fell, Gu Qing disposed of the last rabbit bone and sat in front of the base, gazing into the darkness. Three Silver Loom Puppets concealed themselves, standing guard.

"I feel inexplicably melancholic," he pondered.

He looked up at the night sky, which appeared clearer and more pristine than on Earth, adorned with sparkling stars that seemed both within reach and infinitely distant.

Time passed until the system's voice echoed in Gu Qing's mind: "Host, the 30 units of primary simulation robots are ready."

Gu Qing rose slowly, the gentle breeze tousling his slightly dirty and disheveled robe, revealing a glimpse of leg hair. Gu Qing turned around, his face filled with anticipation and excitement for the future.

Back in the gilded chair, Gu Qing curled up his entire body and carefully operated the screen.

"I never expected that there would be people able to survive in this icy and snowy land."

After the successful construction of the primary spy satellite, Gu Qing had only taken a brief glance at it. Now, upon closer inspection, he discovered a large number of intelligent beings in this far northern region. When he zoomed in on the map, he realized they were tribes.

These tribes consisted of towering figures, standing nine feet tall, with muscles resembling small giants.

"System, can you decipher what they're saying? Who are these people?"

"I apologize, host. The primary spy satellite does not support voice data retrieval. Please upgrade the system."

Gu Qing furrowed his brow. Dealing with these individuals didn't seem easy. With only 30 units of primary simulation robots and three Silver Loom Puppets confined to the valley, fighting them would be really troublesome.

Moreover, Gu Qing noticed that these tribes varied in size and seemed to have some connection with each other. His current location was roughly in the center of the far northern region. As he moved south from Gu Qing's position, the number of tribes decreased. However, as he moved north, there were more tribes, and they grew larger. The deepest part of the far north remained shrouded in shadow, beyond the reach of even the spy satellite.

At that moment, Gu Qing's gaze shifted to a small green area in the far south of the map.

Upon zooming in, Gu Qing discovered a city resembling an ancient county town, it highly resembled a normal human city. He saw the three prominent characters "Beiguang County" displayed on the city gate.

Gu Qing examined it carefully and realized that Beiguang County covered a vast area, with over six hundred villages under its jurisdiction. Each village ranged from dozens to thousands of inhabitants.

Amused, Gu Qing couldn't help but laugh. "It seems that the population in this world is quite large. After all, this is just a remote area near the extreme south."

"System, deploy all 30 of our primary simulation robots near Beiguang County. With so many villages, let's engage in a village extermination battle, shall we?"

As he spoke, a cruel smile crept onto Gu Qing's lips.

The system's mechanical female voice replied, "Understood. Deploying the primary simulation robots immediately."
