Chapter 18: Fight

Raphael laughter for a minute, then scoffed,"Really?! It doesn't bother you at all that he whored himself out to a dozen men last night and enjoyed every minute of it?"

Lucien would be lying if he said it didn't bother him. But instead, he said, "Stop calling him that!" Raphael had stepped too close to Blaise, so Lucien reached forward and gave him a hard shove.

"Lucien!" hissed Blaise. "Don't start a fight!"

Raphael's face was sinister now, eyebrows furrowed down and his mouth drawn up in a snarl. "Blaise," he growled, "Lucien has already started a fight. He really thinks he can just take you from me." Looking straight into Lucien's eyes he added, "He is mine."

Raphael began circling him, his expression murderous. Lucien reached into his jacket and withdrew the oak stake, clutching it so hard his knuckles turning white. A surge of adrenaline coursed through his veins as he faced off against Raphael, their eyes locked in a fierce gaze.
