Flora let her words hang and looked at Thalia as if she had grown horns on her head. Flora knew Thalia like the back of her hand, and the expression Thalia had them screamed, 'I am guilty as charged!'

Flora did not know what to think or how to feel for a brief moment. She was somehow glad and happy that Thalia had given her all to him because Thalia rarely did that with anybody, but looking at Thalia's face at that moment, Flora found something very much amiss, and disappointment welled up in her heart.
