Meeting Williard

Outside the shop they had just exited, Mirabel said, "I think we've shopped enough for today. Let's go back."

Flora's mind raced with countless questions as she gazed at her friend., as did Sandy, because at least Flora remembered Eliana, but Sandy did not know her.

'I should get up to speed on things like these so that I can help Mirabel in times like these.' In her mind, Sandy was overwhelmed by a sense of disappointment as she felt that she had let down her superior by not even knowing od what looked like her nemesis!

Just before they stepped into an elevator to send them to the underground parking lot, Mirabel went on her knees. She looked her son straight in the eye, ignoring his slight guilty look and asked,

"What happened back there, Collin?"

As if suspecting that Flora and Sandy would intervene, she raised her palm on a 'stop' signal and assumed a stern tone.

Collin's head lowered more, "Look at me, young man, and explain yourself!"
