The Results?

Flora could hear the women subtly curse out loud even though they tried to lower their voices. They had been trying to cosy up to the owner, who they had thought was a big-shot gentleman, but the three had invariably disrespected the very person they were trying to hold up in high esteem! 

"Should we have treated her better then?"

"Shut up! What do you know!"

"That's why they say you never know the future of anyone…."

"Hmmf! Isn't she just confirming what we know about her?" She rolled her eyes.

"At least she has these…" The one who had spoken pointed to the buildings…

"What do you have? We better come up with a strategy and ask for forgiveness before we are left out of this. No matter our past grudges, she should be thinking of business, so I doubt she will leave us out if we come with the funds!"

"But do you have the funds? Weren't we coming to plead for a discount?"
