A handle… finally!

One can imagine Mirabel's state of mind then. It was too complex for her to even understand herself not to talk of comminating this to another person in an attempt for that person to understand her.

All her hope had been tied to the results run by Jorge. Deep inside, she had wanted a chance to say 'I told you so! I did not lie!' Most of her grievances stemmed from that supposed DNA evidence from the Wankys that had pushed her off a cliff in terms of her emotions.

That test slip had given them all the justification for them to do what they wanted to her with no fear of societal repercussions. How long could she go on by saying Collin was Charles' son when the evidence proved otherwise? …and Mirabel had hoped to make them eat their words, what she would have given to let especially Joy and her son eat their words on this.
