I saw my mom.
She stood there within my reach, where the light was glowing. She was smiling, wearing her favorite dress. A bouquet of white flowers was in her hands. I thought it was lilies, because they were my mother's favorite flower. My mother was like a princess out of those fairy tales I used to read. She was so beautiful that I had to go to her and see her beauty up close while holding her hands.
I did not feel the warmth or the coldness of her hands. Her body temperature did not pass to me. Nevertheless, I tried to hold on tight to my mother's hands to let her know how much I missed her.
'You've done well, Sol, so well.'
'Mom...'
'You are so brave, you know?' She caressed my hair, kissing my forehead when tears trickled down my face. I collapsed on my knees, holding on to her waist. I vowed to spend all my life with her if I could, but I heard a whisper. Different voices were calling me. 'You need to go back to him.'
'I don't want to leave. I want to be with you.'
