"Don't you wanna know what I feel about you?"
Hearing this, Davis's throat tightened. He should have known earlier from the blush growing on her cheeks.
'She is drunk within two glasses!' But he didn't stop her and now, he had to bear the consequences.
On not receiving any reply from his end, Lucy lifted her gaze and looked at him with her moist glances.
"I feel safe with you. You are like heaven which I don't want to leave at any cost."
"Lucy..."
"Let me tell you. You make me happy and confident.... not judging me because...I don't....have a family..." Lucy's drunk words were completely honest.
She broke her gaze and rubbed her right cheek against his firm chest.
He was warm in contrast to her cold self. She could feel herself comfortable resting her face there and the drunkness gridding over her mind.
If not for the self-control she had, maybe she might have collapsed at this point.
Unknown to her, there was another battle going on in Davis's mind.
