Chapter 2: The Village

Uno arrived in front of the wooden gate of the village. He looked around and there are also other people arrived in the village and there are also rough-looking guards in the watch tower. The village guards ignored them and remained surveying the surroundings. Uno tried to focus his gaze into the guard and other people but there is no information popping-up. Uno thought "Do I need a skill to scout other people?" and he entered the village.

The village have some thatched houses but there are many open-lot. In the center of the village, there is a well built fine-wooden house. Uno found groups of people resting in the ground. It seems that these people also comes from earth. Uno finds a spot to rest and observe the village. The mission is not yet complete, Uno thought that the sun might need to set before the mission will be completed.

Once the gigantic sun sets, the wooden gates of the village was closed.

Uno was confused because there is no skill book appeared in his hands. The door of the fine-wooden house opened and a person comes out. A 6.5ft man with brown short hair suited with leather armor on his chest and torso. The man shouted, "All of you! Welcome to Breeze Village. I am Sinro, the village head of this area".

A man from the crowd suddenly yelled "WHERE THE FUCK ARE WE? I SAW A FUCKING DEAD PERSON ON MY WAY HERE!!!" The man's shout motivated the whole crowd to release their confusion and frustrations.

Sinro shouted and there is a tinge of the yellow sonic wave comes out from his mouth "QUIET!!!".

Uno's ear drum rang and the crowd quieted down. Sinro speaks "This is the Breeze Village, if you passed the test. You will be transported into the real world"

The crowd murmurs "The real world? is that being sent back to earth?"

Sinro did not answer the crowd's confusion. Until then, someone shouted but it was coming from the outside of the wooden gate. Someone shouting "LET ME IN!!!! THERE ARE RATS!!!! AAAAAAAAARGH!! IT'S EATING ME ALIVE!!".

The crowd was shocked in fear. some of the crowd shouts "RATS?".

Sinro suddenly speaks "Every night, all of the grass rats are meeting up and will attack any people they will encounter".

The crowd panics. Sinro speaks "I, the village head will now award your reward".

All of a sudden, the crowd including Uno is shrouded by light, and once it fades away. A prompt appeared.

Someone in the crowd shouted, "WHERE IN THE FUCKING HELL AM I GONNA KILL!!!! 50 FUCKING RATS!!!". A man in the crowd questioned, "What's a Grass Rat Nest?". Sinro answered, "It's the lair of the grass rat, it typically occupies by 4 to 6 rats". Then, Sinro announced that he will no longer be going to answer any questions or confusion and returned back to the fine-wooden house.

Everyone started to review their own information and form a group. Some are panicking or complaining about why they have to do this.

Uno is now deciding if he is going to join a group or form his own group. He decided to go on solo because he does not want to spoil his abilities. He decided to go low-key.

The night was eerily quiet with some murmurs because of the issued mission.

The enormous sun is about to rise. Uno woke up early in the morning and immediately prepared to set off. "I need to quickly find a [Grass Rat Nest] and hope that I will get the same mission". Uno roamed the wilderness and managed to kill 13 [Grass Rat] after an hour. Uno is using [𝐔𝐫𝐠𝐞] in-between kills to manage his EP. Uno rested for 10 minutes before continuing his grind. As of the moment, Uno's EP is currently at (128/160).

In about 25 minutes, Uno managed to find a [Grass Rat Nest] on the west side of the village.

At the [Grass Rat Nest], there are about two [Grass Rat] guarding the rat hole. Uno prepared to attack and did not waste time because he is now much stronger. Uno can handle two [Grass Rat] using his [𝐔𝐫𝐠𝐞]. However, Uno also worries about his previous minimal injuries. Hence, he is planning to kill the two as soon as possible.

Uno activated his [𝐔𝐫𝐠𝐞] skill. Uno's physique glowed in dull red and yellow illumination, and he grew sturdier and more energetic. Then, Uno prepared to charge the [Grass Rat] on the right side of the rat hole. The [Grass Rat] staggered and fell down. Uno raised the stone and give the [Grass Rat] a tasty smash in its face. BAAM!!
