Chapter 16: The Bald
The sentries at the Kinsley Village watchtower are having fun and conversing. "You see that woman, what nice legs, eh? Tonight, something will drip on it. AHHAHAH!"
The sentries are having a good time until they hear a distressing call.
"HELP!!! HELP US! WE WERE ATTACKED!" yelled someone in the distance.
One of the sentries recognized Ian Stewart and yelled, "Hey! That's Ian, let them in. He is part of the group that went out earlier." The sentries promptly opened the wooden gate and let Ian Stewart through.
"Bring him to the infirmary, hurry!" shouted Ian Stewart, carrying a person who appears to be injured.
Ian Stewart proceeded towards the village center while someone carried the injured man to the village's infirmary.

Uno is currently being taken away by two persons to the infirmary. He waits until they are no longer visible due to a tree's shade, then snaps their necks and throws their bodies into an adjacent bush.

"Hm... 36 Forest Bandits to go." Uno intends to attack the band of forest bandits from the shadows.
Before infiltrating Kinsley Village, Uno instructed Ian Stewart to gather the forest bandits in order to weaken part of the village's defenses. Uno sneak-attacked the sentries before covering around the village notifying those whom he met about their presence and advising them to remain in their homes.

Ian Stewart is hammering on a door in Kinsley Village, screaming out "Boss! Boss! We got ambushed. We need your help." There are already 15 forest bandits gathered at the ruckus, and the door opens in roughly five minutes. A fat bald man almost naked walks out of the home and says, "The fuck you whining about? Why are you wasting my time, just call the others and chase the bitch. Okay!" Then the fat bald man shut the door.
Ian Stewart had a glitter in his eyes and immediately exclaimed, "All of you, call the others to prepare and head out." After fifteen minutes, some returned with more forest bandits, but some of the forest bandits to summon the others were not yet present. They currently have 21 members.
Ian Stewart gave the order and stated, "Hey! 5 of you call the others. They're taking too much time." After a while, no one returned. He then directed another 5 forest bandits to bring the guys back. Then, nobody returned after five minutes and there are only 11 woodland bandits left. He dispatched another 5 forest bandits to investigate what was going on.
Ian Stewart waited 10 minutes before choosing to round up the other forest bandits and investigate the situation on his own. Ian Stewart took a position at the back of the group and drew his saber.
Swoosh!!!
Swoosh!!! ding!

A slash in the back injured one forest bandit, and another lost his head. Ian Stewart unleashes a flurry of slashes, and Uno appears, resulting in a headless forest bandit.

Uno swiftly eliminated all of the forest bandits, whereas Ian Stewart only killed two.
Ian Stewart informed Uno that there is just one left and he led the way.
When they arrive, the fat bald man is armed with an axe and instantly strikes. Uno drew his Kampilan sword and collided with the opponent's axe. Uno wins the exchange, causing the fat bald man to loosen his grip, and Uno instantly delivers another attack, severing the fat man's hand.
The bald fat man screamed in agony, "ARGH!!! You fucking shit, are you courting death?" Then he did a mad dash towards Uno.
Uno merely swung his sword and severed his head.

The leader of the forest bandits is nothing special and the axe is not even a proper axe for combat. Then...

"Hm... I need this, but it's not my priority; I need something like a lumberyard or farmland because I can now feel the hunger in my stomach," Uno thought.
Uno visits the house where the bald fat man lives for any loot. When Uno opened the door, he found a thrashed living room; it seemed that the forest bandits had already searched the entire area for treasures. Uno approached and opened the door on the right side of the living room. Uno discovered numerous naked young women, even a granny. They are no longer living since some have been disfigured and others appear to have been strangled to death.
Uno summons Ian Stewart and instructs him to notify all remaining villagers to gather outside the house.

Ian Stewart arrived with a big group of villagers in around 20 minutes and said, "Village Chief, here are all of the survivors."
"My name is Uno Delou, and I am sincerely sorry for your loss," Uno stated as he bowed toward the survivors. "I hope to invite you all to join my Invictus Village, and I will ensure to provide security and opportunities."
The survivors' reactions vary; some are astonished, others are silent, some are whispering to their loved ones, and some are excited about joining in.
In the end, they all joined for their own reasons, but Uno believes that his innate skill played a role because Uno expects them to not join his village because it is still in its early stages, and the Kinsley Village is now secured.

"Welcome to Invictus Village," Uno announced, "let's rest and take anything valuable before we head to our village. Please take your time because I know some of you lost someone in this tragedy."

The sun is now setting. Uno and the new villagers arrived at the Invictus Village after four long hours. Some of the villagers buried the remains of the murdered villagers and brought materials such as food, lumber, and stones before leaving Kinsley Village. Unfortunately, the Village Chief of Kinsley Village is already dead, and all of the members of the militia forces.
Uno checked the cart that contains all of the essential loot obtained in Kinsley Village. They found basic buildings blueprints of lumberyards, farmland, wooden house, and wooden fence. They also found copper coins, silver coins, and gold coins but they did not count the exact amount yet.
When Uno was concentrating on clearing out the forest bandits, Randy Cooper arrived in Invictus Village and quickly led the people in cutting down some trees to acquire lumber and build a temporary improvised shelter. Randy Cooper's initiative impressed Uno greatly.
The sun has fallen, and Uno has assigned Ian Stewart to be the village's lead sentry. Except for Ian Stewart, there are four sentries on duty in the village's area. There are groups of two to ensure that if someone is attacked, at least one person can flee and notify the village.
