Chapter 72

"Boy, I have told you too that I need to wait at least until tomorrow because we need to have a healer to market sure no one will get hurt. Huh?! What happened to you, Boy? Why do you look like that?" Hudson said with a stern tone.

Hudson looks at Ludger's face. For some reason, Ludger's face looks tired and anxious. He seems to think about something as his face turns pale.

'Did he remember something that relates to his horrible past?' Hudson wonder.

"Hmm, did you ask because I just use magic before? I am alright...Huh?!" When Ludger try to say he was alright, his leg seems to lose its power and he falls down.

"Boy! What happens?" Hudson was the first to react and caught Ludger's body to prevent him from falling with panic expression.

"Master Ludger/Teacher! What happens to you?" Hugo and Favian quickly get closer to check on his condition with a panic expression.

"I'm alright. Maybe I was just too tired because I didn't have enough sleep last night. I think I should follow your suggestion and go back and get some rest right now." Ludger said to calm them down but his face looks awful.

Ludger also didn't understand about what happened to him. The only thing that he knows is he suddenly feels horrible killing intents as when they leave the second training ground. It was a bone-chilling sensation that make him remember the terrible thing in the past that he want to forget.

'It feels like what happened before I died in my past life.' Ludger thought as he try to calm his heart that beating so fast right now.

"You better to have enough rest for the next two days...But are you really alright, Boy?." Hudson sternly said to Ludger.

"I'm al-...ugh!" Ludger want to say that he was alright but suddenly he feel nauseous and had a horrible headache so he stop talking and hold his head.

Ludger could see how panic the three adults beside him when he suddenly stops talking. But he can't say anything to them because he feels a horrible pain as if his inside was being twisted. He also feels something seems to be pressuring him as his breathing becomes rough.

After a few minutes has passed, Ludger started to gain his calm as the horrible feeling suddenly gone as if it had never appeared. In that few minutes, Ludger kept seeing the last moment before she died in her past life or 'Renneshia' in the game death.

'What is that? I feel a similar feeling as magic but it was not magic. My only clue is it feels like dying.' Ludger frowned at the strange sensation that he feels.

"Boy/ Teacher/ Master Ludger, are you alright?" Hudson, Favian and Hugo ask with worried tones.

"I'm alright now. I only feel a disturbing feeling that makes me get sick." Ludger honestly told them about what happened.

"Huh??? Are you sure about it? Why do we didn't feel anything?" Hudson was confused at Ludger's words as it was strange that he have such a reaction to it.

"I also don't know why I was the only one who feel it. Maybe I am really just too tired lately and affects my health." Ludger calmly said but his face still looks pale.

"Alright, we will send you back to Red Dawn right now. You must have a rest. I will not let you to train until you got better." Hudson said as he carry Ludger to the carriage.

"Hey, Mr. Hudson, I can walk so why do you carry me like this?" Ludger said with a polite tone.

"This Boy. Haa, should I tell Lady Katarina about what happened?" Hudson said with a teasing tone and sly smile.

"Of course it was alright. My mom might forbid me to join the adventurer guild later if you do that. Are you really sure about it?" Ludger answers with a bright smile.

Hudson's face contorted as he heard Ludger's words. He never thought that Ludger will answer that similar to threatening him.

"Pfff, should we tell her about what happened to Lady Katarina, Mr. Hugo?" Favian asks with a teasing look at Hudson.

"I think that was a good idea to lessen our competitors." Hugo nodded.

"Hey! Don't both of you dare to do that!" Hudson warns both of them.

When they enter the carriage, some people saw them with curious looks on their faces. One of them is the old veteran adventurer with pale green hair.

He asked the nearby adventurer. "Excuse me, young man. Isn't that our Guild Master? But why did he carry a little child and go with the person from the alchemy guild and merchant guild?"

He was an old man with a straight back, a fit body and a calm face that makes him look like a wise and reliable person. He keeps looking at the carriage until it disappeared.

"Oh, you mean that little boy! I heard that the apprentices keep talking about him. They say he was the boy that was being dragged by our Guild Master because he was too weak as a man and surrounded by women in the place where he was working. The male apprentices told me that he was a very dangerous person that should not be crossed." An adventurer in his early twenties answers what he hears from the apprentices.

"Hmm!? That child was a boy?!" The old man looked surprised and confused because he thought that the child was a girl.

"I know, right? They also never thought he was a boy until he started to hit on the females in the training room and steal their hearts with his glib tongue. They also told me that I need to be careful with him if I don't want to be hated by women." Another adventurer adds as he nodded his head as if he understands the old man feeling.

The old man looks in the direction of the carriage that had gone for some time and frowns as he mutters. "Maybe I am getting old. I never thought that I made such a mistake."

The old man thought that Ludger was a girl because of his beautiful face. But after hearing the story from the other adventurers, he believes that he was a boy. Because no female in this world would ever seduce other females while acting like a professional playboy.

As he listens to the adventurers around him, he knows that Einar the Earth Crusher was a person who knows about the boy. As the old man becomes more curious about the mysterious boy's background, he decided to look for Einar.

Einar just regain his consciousness and want to go to Red Dawn to look for Ludger after being told that the Guild Master send him to his home. When he went outside the medication room, he met with an old man that want to ask him for the information about Ludger.

"Oh, so you are interested in that little devil!" Einar nodded with an understanding look.

"Hmm, why do you call him 'little devil'? Is that boy did something bad to you before, Sir Einar?" The old man was confused with how Einar called him.

"I call him that because he was a man that will dissing others with such violent words and blackmailed other people. He is also good to hide behind women as most women who meet him will want to protect him as he always acts like a delicate boy." Einar grumbles about Ludger.

"Then why are you running at him and saying that you want to become his disciple before?" The old man gets more confused because what Einar said is different from how he acts.

"Ah..., about that...um..., please don't tell anyone else about it," Einar said while acting shy.

The old man nodded his head as if he agree with Einar and his gaze urge him to continue with his explanation about his reason.

"Well..., actually I want to ask him to teach me how to interact with females. I-I always have a hard time talking with them and it makes the females fear me. That boy was able to make the females in the class like him after talking a few sentences. I-I also want to be popular like him... That's my reason for asking him to be my teacher. Please don't tell anyone else." Einar said with a red face and shy manner.

The old man was dumbfounded by Einar's secret that he never wish to hear about it.

When the carriage arrived at Red Dawn, Hudson get out of the carriage while carrying Ludger like before.

"I told you I can walk by myself! Why won't you listen to me?" Ludger protest.

"I don't want to get scolded by your mother if you fell when you are running to the restaurant. You won't be able to bad-mouth me if you didn't have any proof." Hudson said to tease Ludger after they tease him before.

As they banter outside the Red Dawn entrance, someone opens the door from inside.

"My dear child! What happens to you? Why are you in such a condition? Did you do something dangerous?" Katarina who hears her child's voice opens the door and panics because she saw Hudson carrying him.

"I'm alright. They were exaggerated my condition because I almost fall when I trained...Hiee! Mom! I-I really did nothing dangerous..." Ludger want to hide the truth but he was too scared when he saw Katarina's expression become scarier.

"Let's talk about it inside." Katarina invite them to go into the restaurant with a beautiful smile but Ludger and the three adults who directly face him could see how cold her gaze is.
