"You! So it was your trap to trick me to show myself. I never thought that you were a sly person and cruel person to hurt such a beautiful lady like me." The beautiful and sexy woman with a loose black robe said with a seductive move.

"I only love one person in my whole life and I won't get deceived by something not human like you! What I need is the power to destroy the wicked. Begone evils! Severing Holy Light!" A man with white hair and blue sky eyes said and attacked her with another silver light arrow.

"Ah, cough, cough. I-I can move again!" The woman in her twenties coughed as she got released when one of the silver light arrows touched the black mist that bound her body.

"I won't let go my prey." The beautiful and sexy woman with a loose black robe uses her black mist to capture the woman but the mist is destroyed by the silver light arrows.

But the black mist changes its shape and tries to stab at the woman. When the black mist almost stabbed her, a mace clad in holy light destroyed the black mist. It was Hudson who came with other adventurers to that place.

"I won't let you do that! Today I will stop you." Hudson said and took the woman away to a safe place and protected her with some other adventurers.

"How dare you! Do you think you will be able to defeat me you pests?! Die you pests!" The beautiful and sexy woman with a loose black robe changes the shape of the black mist into sharp claws.

The sharp claws are able to change their length and become like a whip that moves as she desires. When she tried to attack another light and wind attack came and blocked her attack.

"We won't let you to harm anyone!" Light green hair half-elf said as she attacked from a distance.

Alvera standing in the distance chanting another magic spell as Elviira attack the black-robe woman. It was something that Ludger told them before when they came to Red Dawn restaurant. At that time both of them are treating Ludger like a doll as they hug him and annoy him with his work. That's why he decided to teach them something from his past memories and keep them busy with their training for a while.

"Don't forget, I'm your opponent." The man with white hair said while sending another silver light arrow attack at the black robe woman.

"Damn you Duke Kadaklan! You and that half-elf! How dare you disturb me from looking for that person! I will kill you all!" The black robe woman angrily said as she charged in the Duke's direction.

The black robe woman blocked it with the black mist that she changed into a shield. But it couldn't prevent all the arrows as it was penetrating the shield and piercing her left hand. From her wound, no blood came out but a dark grey liquid that had a really bad smell. It was as if a rotten corpse had mixed in a garbage dump.

"Ugh. What is this disgusting smell? She really was an undead." The adventurers nearby put on a mask to not smell that disgusting smell but it was not effective as they were still able to smell it.

"...With the protection from the Goddess, protect us from the evil power and purify it. Judgement." The current Duke Kadaklan chanted and released his spell.

A bright silver light shone but it did not cause the people who saw it to get blinded by it. But the black robe woman's body started to melt and turned into grey ashes as if it was burning her body. The adventurers were surprised by that scene and some of them realized that the smell had gone and their bodies got lighter after the silver light touched them.

"No! You damn Duke! Damn you old virgin! I curse you that you will not be able to find your partner or have children to continue your bloodline! Hehehe, you adventurers should also get destroyed and turned into undead." The black-robe woman started to scream like a lunatic.

"This is the end." Duke Kadaklan said as he poured more magic power into his spell and finished her.

The black-robe woman turns into a pile of grey ashes and disappears. They check the adventurers who help with the fight and call the priest to purify the area around the alleyway. The Duke's body staggered as he used a lot of his magic power to defeat her. Hudson ran in his direction and caught his body that almost falling from the rooftop of the building.

"Are you okay, my Lord? Did you get attacked by that black mist or because of her sharp words?" Hudson asked with a teasing expression.

"Ha. It was not funny, Guild Master Hudson. But it was all because of that person's help that we were finally able to stop her from attacking the citizens of this city. It always happens once every decade but it is just two years from the last attack. We had a hard time finding the culprit before but we were able to trap and defeat her right now because of that person told us what to do." The current Duke Kadaklan said as he watched the people cleaning the alleyway area.

"Well, he was a true genius if you compare him with the others. But I could see he had a tragic background that made him grow faster mentally than the other." Hudson said as he looked at the approaching Alvera and Elviira.

"Have you asked or heard about it from them before?" Duke Kadaklan asked as he sat down on the rooftop to meditate.

"I don't ask him but I only guess it from his behaviours and actions." Hudson shook his head.

"What are you talking about? And did you see our magic formation?" Alvera who jumped to the rooftop asked with a proud face.

"We have not completely mastered it because it will be better if there is at least one more person. He said we need to add more people if our chanting is longer to create a continuous attack." Elviira explains to Hudson with a flat tone.

"Hmm?! Does he also know about battle tactics?! How many things does that person know? Could it be that he knows almost everything?" Hudson scratched his head as he felt that person was really abnormal and never did anything like a normal child around his age.

"Huft. From the reports, he must hate me if I as a Duke summon him and give him the reward that he deserves to receive as a thanks for his help to this city." Duke Kadaklan said after he gained his power to move normally.

"Do you want us to help you to ask him about it?" Alvera asks with a happy tone.

"Both of you only want to play with him, right?" Hudson said with a doubtful gaze.

At Red Dawn restaurant, Darius and Hudson come and tell Ludger about what happened last night in the alleyway near the red light district. They also told him that the Duke wanted to reward him for his help in the case. Ludger calmly hears their story and explanation about the case and how great his help was to make them able to defeat the black robe woman.

"So, you want to tell me that he will give me a gift for my help?" Ludger asks to make sure.

"That's right. My Lord said that you can ask anything as long it won't cause danger to this city." Darius nodded and told him the Duke's message.

"Hmm, what I need right now is to remake our lost identity card. It would be better if we could become this city's citizens." Ludger said after thinking about it for a while.

'If I have an identity card as this city's citizen, it will help us later if something happens to us and we need to prove our identity. It is better to prepare everything before I need it.' Ludger thought.

"Are you serious about the rewards? Won't you regret it later?" Darius asks with a worried face.

"That's enough for me. But if he wants to give me more rewards to appreciate my help, he could give me cash. But don't take it here to the Red Dawn restaurant but give it to Hugo from the Green Sea merchant group and tell him that it was my money. He will know what to do with the money." Hudson did not dare to open his mouth as he didn't want to get involved with their sly talk.
