Strategy and Trust

The so-called Strategic Logistics Talent is an incredibly rare yet immensely valuable and powerful ability!

After all, the game in this world isn't just some simple 2D single-player experience like in the past life.

Here, you have ample time to grow and develop!

And that's exactly why, in the long run, the longer the game goes on, the more terrifying and broken a Strategic Logistics Talent becomes. I mean, which is stronger—7-Tier units or 8-Tier units? The answer is obvious: the latter, without a doubt.

Take Elynn's talent, for example. As long as she has enough 7-Tier Pegasus Knights, she can continuously train them into 8-Tier Silver Pegasus Knights.

Now, imagine a scenario where two major factions are locked in a stalemate. If Elynn is on one side, the enemy has already lost.

Why?

Because with the same amount of time and the same unit dwellings, they're recruiting 7-Tier Pegasus Knights, while Elynn is fielding 8-Tier Silver Pegasus Knights!

There's no question about it—every battle after that will be a complete stomp.

Sure, the process isn't free. It'll probably take a ton of resources. But so what? It's absolutely worth it.

Stronger units mean higher efficiency in battle, greater success rates in conquests, and ultimately, more resources and gold.

And that creates a perfect, self-sustaining cycle.

To be honest, in the world of Glory Lords X, gold and resources aren't even the highest priority.

At any given time, the top priority is power—the strength of your army.

That's why hero talents that enable this kind of endless, self-reinforcing cycle are classified as Strategic Logistics Talents. Any strategic talent is incredibly powerful and crucial.

And at the same time, extremely, extremely rare!

Out of the billions of players worldwide, only a handful possess such talents.

As for Elynn's S-rank Blue Rare Hero rating, that's an official evaluation given by the system.

In Glory Lords X, heroes are ranked into five major tiers:

White – Common

Blue – Rare

Purple – Epic

Orange – Legendary

Crimson – Ultimate

The difference in strength and potential between each tier is massive—completely incomparable.

Even within the same tier, heroes vary significantly in power, potential, and talent.

To reflect this, the system further divides each tier into six sub-ranks:

D-rank

C-rank

B-rank

A-rank

S-rank

SSS-rank

For Elynn to be rated as an S-rank Blue Rare Hero? That speaks volumes about how strong she is. She's an absolute powerhouse!

"Master?" Elynn looked at Ethan in confusion when he remained silent. She hesitated for a moment before speaking again.

"Uh… Hey, Elynn. I'm the lord of Emerald Castle, and I was the one who recruited you…" Ethan finally snapped out of his thoughts and quickly introduced himself.

"Honored Master, Elynn is pleased to serve you. Is there anything you need me to do?" Elynn dismounted from her Silver Pegasus and gave Ethan a formal knight's salute, her tone respectful and composed.

"To be honest, I have no idea what I'm doing right now. Can you help me out?" Ethan asked.

"Of course, Master."

Elynn gently tucked a strand of her golden hair behind her ear, her eyes flickering with thought before she continued. "I did a quick aerial survey just now. Around Emerald Castle, I spotted three lumber mills and two ore mines. Their defenses are fairly weak. With the two Pegasus Knights and eleven Dwarves under my command, we can take them down easily. However… gathering resources is going to be a problem. Even if I send all my troops to collect them, we'll still have a major shortage…"

As she spoke, Elynn frowned, clearly troubled.

You can't cook without ingredients.

That was exactly how she felt right now.

"Don't we have a castle? Can't we recruit troops from there?" Ethan asked.

"We can, but Emerald Castle is only a Level 1 castle. It only has the most basic structures. If we want to recruit troops, we'll need to spend gold and resources to construct the necessary buildings. For example, to build a Centaur Stables—which allows us to recruit 1-Tier Centaurs—we'd need 5,000 gold and 5 units of wood…"

Elynn was about to say that they probably didn't have any of those resources.

After all, she knew Emerald Castle was a newly established city with a Level 1 castle. That basically meant they were dirt poor and had nothing to work with.

But before she could finish, Ethan suddenly perked up, his voice filled with excitement.

"5,000 gold and five wood? That's not bad at all—I've got that covered!"

The system had just rewarded him with 30,000 gold and five units of each resource. Perfect timing.

"You know what? Just take it all. That's 30,000 gold, plus five units each of wood, mercury, ore, sulfur, crystal, and gems. Use them however you see fit!"

Without hesitation, Ethan handed over all his gold and resources to Elynn.

After all, he considered himself a smart guy. He didn't know the first thing about castle management, so rather than fumbling around blindly, it was better to let someone competent handle everything. That way, he could sit back and relax.

"Thank you for your trust, Master…"

Elynn was momentarily stunned by Ethan's generosity, but she quickly composed herself and accepted the resources. Without wasting any time, she began calculating their next steps.

"With these 30,000 gold coins, we can immediately upgrade the Town Hall into a City Hall. That will increase Emerald Castle's daily income to 1,000 gold.

"Additionally, since we have enough gold, I recommend constructing the Dwarven Village first, which will allow us to recruit 3-Tier Dwarves. As for the Centaur Stables, we can hold off on that until we've secured those two lumber mills and have a steady supply of wood."

"As for how long all of this will take… I estimate about seven days."

After finishing her report, Elynn turned to Ethan, awaiting his decision.

"Hmm… Sounds good. Elynn, you really live up to your Blue Rare Hero ranking. Impressive!" Ethan couldn't help but praise her.

Yep, having a competent person take care of things really made life so much easier.
