Tang Jia Li, the Crown Princess of the Tang Empire, was accused of the murder of her father, the Emperor. The same night, she was deposed from her royal title and ordered to be beheaded. When she attempted to run away, she died at the hands of her enemies.

While embarking the journey of revenge, she gets entangled with these five noblemen, finding Friendship, Loyalty, Rivalry and True Love.

Jia Li held her breath as she felt his warm exhales against her skin, soon followed by the warmth of his lips.

She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

"I saw with my own eyes, Grandmother. Xianwu's affection for Jia Li goes beyond mere fondness; it's a profound and sincere love he holds for her. Now, I know why he refused to work for me," Wangjie stated with a grin across his lips. 


"What course of action do you intend to pursue, my dear Grandson?" inquired the Grand Empress Dowager.


"I aim to have Xianwu humbled, compelling him to kneel and offer an apology for his disrespectful conduct towards me," Wangjie declared with determination.


"That would certainly rouse General Lee Shimin's anger; he harbors the greatest affection for his eldest son," responded the Grand Empress Dowager as she deftly cracked a walnut open using the walnut cracker.
