Tang Jia Li, the Crown Princess of the Tang Empire, was accused of the murder of her father, the Emperor. The same night, she was deposed from her royal title and ordered to be beheaded. When she attempted to run away, she died at the hands of her enemies.

Jia Li held her breath as she felt his warm exhales against her skin, soon followed by the warmth of his lips.

She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

Revenge Of The Crown Princess

Jin Fengming gently placed his brush on the desk as he caught wind of Jia Li's arrival. With a respectful nod, he rose from his seat when Jia Li and Chen Xin entered the room.


Gradually, the office room emptied, with everyone except Jin Fengming being politely ushered out. Chen Xin, the last to depart, closed the doors behind him, ensuring their privacy.


With a touch of deference, Jin Fengming inquired, "May I ask why the Crown Princess has graced me with her presence today? Her Royal Highness should have summoned me instead to the palace," he added with humility.  


Seated across from Jia Li, Jin Fengming inclined his head slightly at her explanation, taking his seat as well. He maintained a poised demeanor, waiting for the Crown Princess to begin.


Jia Li, cutting to the heart of the matter, questioned, "I heard that you were summoned by Prince Wangjie. Why did you not see fit to inform me of this?"
