Tang Jia Li, the Crown Princess of the Tang Empire, was accused of the murder of her father, the Emperor. The same night, she was deposed from her royal title and ordered to be beheaded. When she attempted to run away, she died at the hands of her enemies.

While embarking the journey of revenge, she gets entangled with these five noblemen, finding Friendship, Loyalty, Rivalry and True Love.

Jia Li held her breath as she felt his warm exhales against her skin, soon followed by the warmth of his lips.

She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

"What was that during the morning tea session?" Jia Li scolded Xianwu as soon as they left the main hall. "I told you not to speak like that. Don't you know you make people angry with that tone of yours?" She halted in the corridor and turned to him.

"Oldie started this," Xianwu said.

"Don't call her oldie. If someone hears you and tells Grandmother, then you won't leave her clutches until you get punished. Also, you made all of my uncles angry. Is this the way you'll work against the enemies?" Jia Li frowned at him.

"I thought it was the right way to treat them," Xianwu replied.

"You are new to the palace. My Grandmother is strict. She might lock you in a room to make you teach the manners. So, you should better not annoy her, at least," Jia Li advised him.

"I understand," Xianwu said. "I'll annoy her more from now onward," he proclaimed with a smile.

"What?" Jia Li exclaimed and watched him walk past her.
