Master Lichen of the Dao Sect

Wangjie held the bow steadily as he aimed at the target, releasing three arrows in quick succession, all hitting the bullseye with precision.

"I didn't anticipate Prince Wangjie's archery skills to be this impressive," Xianwu remarked, retrieving one of the arrows.

Wangjie, proud of his abilities, replied, "I've trained diligently since the age of seven."

Xianwu couldn't help but question, "Why? Prince Wangjie never pursued a military career to put these skills to use."

"Because Brother Wangjie aspired to become the Crown Prince," Zhao Yue, the Second Prince, chimed in.

Xianwu sighed, recognizing the ambition. "Sadly, only one could hold that title," he commented, then shifted his focus to Jia Li, pulling her closer to him as she stood before him.

The two princes observed their interaction. "This is hardly the place for romance," Zhao Yue commented.
