She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

Revenge Of The Crown Princess

"Son, what happened? Why did Ning Hua suddenly back off from the marriage? Eunuch Yang sent the message to everyone in the palace," Lady Cheng asked her son.

Wangjie remained quiet as he was in no mood to talk with his mother or anyone. While Lady Cheng kept bothering him, Wangjie ended up shouting at her.

"Stop eating my mind," Wangjie told his mother, telling her to leave his sight instantly.

"Prince Wangjie should tell me what happened between him and Ning Hua." Lady Cheng didn't stop even after Wangjie asked her to.

"Mother, do you not get it? I don't wish to talk to you," Wangjie said in a loud voice. "Don't annoy me. If she refused to marry me, I am not going to beg her and ask her to be my wife. She thinks I will die without her," he proclaimed.

Eunuch Qun requested Lady Cheng that she should leave the prince alone. She frowned at her son and left the chamber.

"Is Ning Hua still in the palace?" Wangjie queried.
