She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

Wangjie realized why Ning Hua was upset with him. The reason was his celebration after Lee Shimin's demise. He helped Ning Hua stand straight and let go of her arm. "You refused to marry me because I was celebrating with Zhao Yue and Liuhao?" he arched his eyebrow at her.

"Ask Xianwu or anyone in the capital if he ever respected his father. I celebrated because Xianwu's head and eyes finally got lowered. If my grandmother had been punished to death, he would have celebrated her death too," Wangjie pronounced.

Ning Hua was unable to understand why he reacted in such a way. "But the Crown Prince was the one, who forgave the Grand Empress Dowager for attempting to kill him. Also, I refused to marry Prince Wangjie because he enjoys other miseries," she asserted.
