She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

Revenge Of The Crown Princess

Mei Xin sat on the chair after she gave her measurements to the seamstress. The attack still feared her and she would check her surroundings to make sure no one was around.

Zhen Shuyun had not shown himself after he saved her. Xiu Lan asked Mei Xin to take some rest, but she refused to do so.

"My Lady, there's nothing to worry about anymore. You are safe," Jingjing said, trying to lessen the fear in Mei Xin. "I will set the lunch for Lady Mei. It's the lunch time and she should not skip it." She left for the kitchen with Xiu Lan.

"They don't want me to live as Fengming's wife. I wonder if I'll stay alive," Mei Xin murmured. She stood up from her seat when heard a knock on the door. As she went closer, she found Zhen Shuyun at the door.

"Can I come in, my lady?" Shuyun asked humbly.

"Yes, please," Mei Xin said and thanked him for saving her.
