She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

Revenge Of The Crown Princess

The next day, Fengming was suddenly called to the palace from the middle of his work. He wondered what could be the occasion. Was he asked to see the punishment his father would be granted? Surely, he would feel bad seeing how people would talk about the Lee Family from today onward.

Upon reaching the palace, he was greeted by an eunuch from the Emperor's manor, who asked Fengming to follow him.

They shortly reached the court, where the session was still ongoing. Fengming entered the courtroom while keeping his eyes down and stopped only after reaching the front. Greeting the Emperor, Fengming remained quiet, wondering what would be happening.

"Jin Jiang is no longer the prime minister of the Empire as everyone knows. Finding an honest person for this rank was difficult for me and the council members. However, there's one person who is capable of this position. Jin Fengming will be the next prime minister of the empire," Emperor Xiangwei announced.
