She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

Revenge Of The Crown Princess

The next day, Xianwu's birth mother came to the palace with her husband. Chen Xin led their way to the guest chamber from where Eunuch Yuhan asked Lady Lixue to follow him to the pavilion.

"Please wait for the five minutes. The Crown Prince will be here," Eunuch Yuhan humbly said and gestured to the tea server to serve tea for Lady Lixue.

She anticipated to see Xianwu as with each passing second, her desperation to see him would grow. Lady Lixue looked at the tea served to her and found out it was chrysanthemum tea.

'Does Xianwu still remember my favorite tea?' Lady Lixue thought, but she kept the teacup untouched.

Xianwu entered the pavilion as Eunuch Yuhan announced about it. All the servants withdrew from there and now, only Xianwu and his mother were present in the pavilion.
