"Fuck Gabe, what is going on?" I let out the frustration that I have been holding since we left the coven.


My hands tremble as I look at her lifeless body.


"Who did this?" I manage in shock and complete confusion.


He hasn't said a word and is just staring at Emily's lifeless body. I can't blame him. Emily was a friend. We just spoke to her, so whoever did this must be nearby. I take a chance and try to search for another scent apart from Emily's. I get a slight whiff of something. Some other scents.


"Fuck, I need to find whoever is responsible for this," I say as I run out of the house. Gabriel doesn't stop me and he doesn't even say anything. The shock is just too much for him.
