Going nowhere and the frustration

Gabriel

I don't know how long I stand there.

Looking at her corpse.

Emily Pierce is one of the strongest rogue wolves I know. She has lived alone for so long; she is a fighter. she is resilient and these evil people just wasted her life.

My heart cracks as each second passes and the shock remains as I try to comprehend what I am staring at.

Her body.

Lifeless and fucking broken.

I take a deep breath, willing the tears to stay back. I can't let myself break down now, not when there's still so much to be done. I need to find out who did this and bring them to justice. Emily deserves that much, and so do the rest of us.

Whoever did this to her, must have known that we were coming. They did this to silence her.

They didn't want her talking.

For the first time since we entered the house, I turn to Lucas.

He is not here anymore.

I don't even remember him leaving.

I don't know what happened after we got in.

Shit.
