I walk out of the corridor with Lucas and I see everyone gathered together. This is the creepiest thing I have ever seen and I don't know why Nathaniel wanted me and Lucas here tonight. There is a stage-like podium and for the first time tonight, I noticed the glass mantels arranged in a circle on the stage.

My heart races as I look at the mantels on the stage, trying to get a clearer view of what they carry.

"I would like to welcome you all to the beginning of the end, or should I say, to the beginning of the syndicate being reborn," Nathanial speaks up and I watch him walk over to the stage, wanting to be the fucking center of attention.

"Why does he have my mother's stone?" Lucas speaks up and I follow the direction of his eyes to one of the mantels.
