The remaining carriages stopped and Alex came down from his. The darkness surrounding him didn't hinder him from having a clear view of yhe environment.
"The one missing carries our goods and those servants we brought from the king's palace," he said to Lidia and Emilia who glanced at each other and came down as well.
"What do we do, Alex?" Emilia asked him.
"Wait here while I go and look for them," he said and turned to leave, following his primal instinct.
"Becareful, Alex!" Lidia yelled after him as hus back faded away into the darkness.
"I'm a bit scared about this place," Emilia mumbled to Lidia.
"Whatever happens, we will protect each other," Lidia comforted her and then held her hand with her sword in the other one. "I won't let anything happen to any of us."
