Is this your office or mine?

Dawn woke up so early in the morning and got dressed for work because she didn't want to get embarrassed by her new boss. To her, he doesn't like her, but that got nothing to do with her, she's only there to work not to make someone like her. She quickly took a cab and it drove her to Jorge's company. She arrived at 7:20am and work normally starts at 7:30am. Without wasting time ,she came out of the cab and paid the driver.

Dawn made her way in and saw some of her colleauges. She greeted everyone and walked to her desk.

Amelia, Dawn's best friend at work wasn't there yet. Dawn prayed and hoped for Amelia to come early, so she won't get embarrassed by their Boss. She was still praying and hoping when Amelia walked in out of the blues.

"Hey." Amelia said as she dropped her bag on her desk. Her desk was beside Dawn's own.

"Good morning, Miss Phillips." Dawn replied, trying to arrange the papers on her desk.

"It seems as if you got to work before me."

"Yes, I did. You're surprised right?"

" Maybe." Amelia said as she sat down. " So how are you?"

" I'm..." Dawn was shocked when she saw Jorge Piper coming out of his office. " He's here already?"

"It seems as if he's coming here. "

The two ladies quickly stood up when the saw Jorge walking to them.

"Good morning sir." Amelia was the first to talk.

" Good.. morning, sir." Dawn uttered

"What says the time?" Jorge said to Dawn. He didn't even reply to their greetings, that's so rude.

Dawn looked at the clock which was kept on her desk . " 7:29, Sir."

"And you aren't even ashamed of saying it. Is this the time you're suppose to come?"

" No sir, I actually came at 7:25 and work starts at 7:30."

" You must be sick upstairs."

Dawn brought her head down when Jorge said those words to her. Amelia felt bad when she saw the sad looks on Dawn's face.

"And you think you're Early huh?"

"Sir, I..."

"Why can't you just shut up and let me finish speaking first."

" I'm sorry Sir."

" Sorry for yourself." He replied. "Look I don't think you working here is going to make sense. You're the Secretary. You're meant to be here early as 6:30am or even 6 am."

Dawn didn't say a word, she kept quiet to avoid coming up with another topic.

"Get me yesterday's report immediately." He said and walked back to his office.

Amelia looked at Dawn and said. "Are you okay?"

Dawn nodded and smiled. She picked the Report and quickly made her way to Jorge's office. The door was wide opened but she didn't enter,she still had to knock to avoid causing problems for herself. She knocked once but he didn't reply so she decided to knock for he second time.

"Are you blind?" Jorge said to her " Can't you see the door is open?"

Dawn heaved a sigh and walked in.

" Sir, here's the report." She dropped it on his desk.

Jorge didn't even raised his head to look at her. His whole attention was on his system. Dawn was contemplating whether she should go or stay. To her, the boss has some problems, so she was scared to leave without him asking her to. "Sir, the report."

"I'm not deaf, am I?"

"Ermm..no Sir"

" Then leave."

" Okay." She made a U-turn and walked out of Jorge's office.

"Dawn, hope he didn't yell at you." Amelia said to Dawn

"Nope." She smiled and took her seat.

" But what is it with you and the Boss?"

"I don't know." She replied with a shrug.

****************************************Chase Jimmy and Liam were having some fun outside when they saw Zoey coming out of the library. She was walking to her class.

"hey, look miss AIDS."Jimmy made fun of her and they all bursted into laughter. Chase stood up "let's go after her, no one is in class."

They all stood up and made their way to Zoey's class.

Zoey picked her back, she stood up and was about to walk out of the class when she got stopped by the three guys.

"Hello Miss AIDS." Jimmy uttered. Zoey didn't reply. She wanted taking a step forward when Chase hurried and stood in front of her. "And where do you think you're going to?" " Zoey still didn't answer. Chase got angry and took her bag away from her.

"Hey give me my bag."

"Come and get it." He threw the bag up in the air and Jimmy caught it. Jimmy also did the same, he passed the bag to Liam. They kept on passing the bag and Zoey kept on going after her bag. She got tired and gave up. "Chase can I please have my bag, please." She pleaded.

"What if I don't give it to you?"

" I will report you Chase." Someone from behind said. They all turned to see who it was. It was Lina, Chase's sister. She and Zoey were in the same class at the University, they were also course mates.

"Lina you?" Chase uttered.

"Chase give her her bag or I will tell Mum you are a big bully in school." On hearing that Chase glanced at Jimmy and Liam. "Lina this got nothing to do with you so go away." Chase said to Lina. Lina hissed, she drag the bag from Chase's hand and gave it back to Zoey. "Here, here is your bag." Zoey quickly collected it. "Thank you." she ran out of the class immediately.

Chase stood in front of Lina. " And you think what you did was right huh?"

Lina smiled. " Perfectly right. Bullying is not allowed here". Lina walked to her seat and sat down. "Chase you're in the wrong class."

Chase hissed. " let's go guys". They three of them walked out of the class.

AT PIPER'S COMPANY.

Dawn's P.O.V

Immediately it was 8:30 p.m. everyone at work started dismissing. I also wanted going home but I was busy with some stuffs. I needed to get the day's report first. I saw when Amelia packaged her stuffs and got ready to go home. When she was done she stood up and worked to me.

"Mis Sec, I will be leaving now." Amelia said.

"Okay. I will see you tomorrow then." I replied. " I'm almost done."

"Goodnight then."

"Same." Amelia made her way to the door she opened it and walked away.

"Done." I stood up and got ready to go home. The boss wasn't even at the office. I wonder where he could be.

I was arranging my desk when a lady walked to me

"Good day." The lady said with a smile on her face.

"Hello." I replied, trying to fake a smile because I had no idea of who the lady was.

"I'm Adele, from the Dee Altamira's company. I was asked to drop this for your boss. It's a file containing some important documents." She said as she handed the file to me. I collected it immediately

"Okay but the boss isn't around."

" Yes, you're his secretary so he asked me to give it to you."

"Okay then. Thank you." The lady smiled and walked away. I kept the file safe and got ready to go home. After I was done with everything, I walked out of the company and took a cab home.

Writers P.O.V

Early in the morning Zoey woke up and got ready for school. She walk to the sitting room and found Stacy getting the dining set as usual.

"Hey Stacy." She pulled a dining chair and sat down. " Good morning." Stacy replied. She quickly served Zoey her breakfast.

"Thank you." Zoey collected her meal. Where's Dawn?"

" She left early as 6:00."

"What, but why?"

"She was saying something about her new boss, I don't know but she left so early."

" Wow. I will have to eat quick and leave too. I don't want to be late."

" Okay eat but don't rush the meal, it's hot.".

(6:15am)

Dawn took a cab and it drove her to Jorge Piper's company. She paid the cab driver immediately the arrive at her work place. Dawn was about to step out of the car when she saw the gate, opening for Jorge's car to enter.

She quickly stepped out of the cab and made her way in.

Dawn halted when she saw Jorge stepping out of his car. "Good morning, Sir."

Jorge didn't reply. He looked at her from head to toes and made his way to his office.

" So rude." Dawn mused. She also made her way in.

Three cleaners were cleaning the place when Dawn entered. The were surprised to see her. It's so early, they thought. "Good morning, all." Dawn greeted them and the all replied. She walked to her desk and dropped her bag. She was about to take her seat when the telephone on her desk rang. She picked the telephone and answered.

"Okay, Sir." She dropped the telephone. " I just came, I haven't even sat down." She said to herself. It's was the boss who called. He asked her to get him the reports for yesterday. She picked the book containing all reports and made her way to his office. The door was locked so she decided to knock. She knocked once and he asked her to come in.

"Sir, here's the report." She dropped it and made a U-turn, ready to leave.

"Did I ask you to leave?"

"Ermm.. Sir, I'm sorry."
