"Where is he?" Evangeline of the past angrily checked her watch and impatiently tapped her shoes against the white tiled floor.

The In-Between morphed into the city's local grocery store, a small store with a well-kept appearance and an entrance displaying colorful signage with the store's name, Triple-A.

"Like the batteries?" Death arched an eyebrow.

"Like the batteries," I nodded in confirmation.

It had large glass windows which showcased its insides of colorful displays of fresh fruits and vegetables. Near the entrance were the shopping carts and baskets, easily accessible to the customers who are planning to buy in bulk.
